I want to play sitar and pedalsteel the most. |
I wanna learn how to play harmonica...but I'm too cheap right now to buy one. I've just perfected Subterranean Homesick Blues, all I need now is a harmonica (and I suppose a backup band) and I'm set. I could probably play about a 1-2 hour long setlist of only Dylan songs now...but I still need a harmonica to make it perfect (and once again...a backup band).
np: Baby Your A Rich Man.
Harmonica is up their for me too. What do they cost? I can't imagine they would be all that expensive. |
Fuck. I forgot sitar. I would love to get one and learn how to play it. That's my number one.
|
Harmonicas aren't all that expensive, though you need different ones for different keys. Still they're pretty cheap.

YEah, I remember seeing John Popper from BLues Traveler have like 20 harmonicas on theses intersecting sashes he wore. |
Thanks for the neg rep. The avatar is for Halloween. I didn't realize I was spamming. God.
np: Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing Can anyone suggest me a good album to buy? |
Right now I'm in the midst of working on an awesome Fusion song :D
What?
And to your question, Brothers at Arms.
Someone from the CR thread neg-repped me for "Negative -rep for being soo **** annoying and spaming nearly everywhere I see you....your avatar is seriously creepy BTW." And I'll check that album out :) |

EDIT
What? And to your question, Brothers at Arms.
woah post count = 6666 Has anyone edited there posts yet? It's way cooler than it used to be. |
Someone from the CR thread neg-repped me for "Negative -rep for being soo **** annoying and spaming nearly everywhere I see you....your avatar is seriously creepy BTW."
And I'll check that album out :)
Well, the avatar obviously wasn't the reason, it was just a sidenote. What regulars have stars other than Lunch and Schyma? |
[oops, JonG doesn't have stars, my bad] I know I spammed a little bit in The Pit today, but I was just bored, and it was only in stupid-*** threads like "bag of bones lawl" (check it out  )
(man, did they get rid of swear-filter avoidance? :( Oh, -13 points |
What? Why is my name being mentioned?
Anybody like Keller Williams?
Keller Williams is a cool cat, and he's extremely talented. /waits for Badmoon to tell me he stole Michael Hedges' style |
Do you know why his album names are 1 word?
|
Do you know why his album names are 1 word?
Because he has a very limited vocabulary? |
What? Why is my name being mentioned?
Anybody like Keller Williams?
For some reason I always thought you had stars. I guess I was always distracted by the kick-arse Willy Wonka avatar. Check my edit :thumb: And Yes rules, their keyboardist... insane. |

Spat Out of Path does.
The bassline from Roundabout is one of the best ever. His tone throughout that album was so innovative. The Fish is probably the most original piece of bass playing, well, ever. Squier is proof that playing with a pick and playing with fingers makes little diffrence to great players. (I think he always used a pick) I think that Yes probably had the best musicians of any Classic Rock band. Howe is an absolutley phenominal guitarist; Wakeman might be the best Keyboardist. I'm no drummer, but apparently, Bruford is amazing though I can't really hear it
The bassline for Roundabout is just... wow. Its so catchy. Although I wouldn't say Yes had the best musicians in any Classic Rock band (I'd say Cream, Rush, or Deep Purple) they're certainly up there. I didn't know Squier played with a pick. |
I was just as disappointed as you.
/Michigan State fan
That was a good game. I wanted to see MSU win. |

Yea, I know no one cares about my Mounties :upset: |
King Crimson would probably stack up well with Yes, but I'm not all that familiar with them.
In terms of BAnd chemisrty, the Dead are my favorite. |
Iowa won.
Woo. *crickets chirp* |
UNC didn't play today
Woohoo \m/ Actually, it's still pretty sad that we got 0 points last game, John Bunting's car got absolutely trashed by the fans. (my sister's boyfriend is a walk-on for UNC by the way) |
That was a good game. I wanted to see MSU win.
I did too :( I was pretty bummed about that one. That's two losses in a row. NP: The Beatles - Here, There, and Everywhere |
The Notre Dame loss was awful. It was pretty confusing there at the end.

Yea, seriously. I find the whole "4:20" thing extremely retarded and pointless. |

sounds like someone is a bassist...
|
I couldn't pick just one favorite bassist, being a bassist might contribute to that.
|
My favorite bass player tends to fluctuate between Squire and Lesh.
|
mine would have to be jaco, bootsy, or John Entwistle.
|
Mine would probably be JPJ (not you jpj :p ) Not just because of his Zeppelin stuff, his solo stuff is pretty awesome too. It is a hard decision though.
