Umm.. I've never really thought about it that much, just something life throws at you I guess...
Before the accident I was a national AFL rep, so I was pretty **** sporty, but afterwards, since I couldn't play sports anymore, I just found new hobbies like computers and music... I'd have to say I'm actually very glad it happened (Does that sound evil?), because had it not, I wouldn't be living the same life, and I absolutely love my life, I have my music, my guitar and my computers and that's all I really care about :p I'd have to say it was pretty hard when I first got back home, and the first few weeks when I restarted school (I didn't actually miss a grade though, I was able to continue doing year 8, even though I had missed pretty much the whole year), because I was given a tutor who would be in every class with me, and I just felt uncomfortable, I didn't really wanna be seen as different to everyone else, you know? |
Well, 23/12/99, I was going to Melbourne to celebrate New Years and Christmas, and on the way down there I was in a car accident, basically the dashboard smashed into me, knocked me out on the spot, coma for a few months, I suffered a left haemoplegia(sp?), or something similar, I'm not sure the medical terms, anyway I had full left side paralysis, dislocated left hip and left shoulder (But they didn't find either for a few weeks because my brain injury was the priority at the time, so yeah hip and shoulder replacements soon :upset: )..
Yeah I was in hospital for about 10 months of the year 2000.. It wasn't very good and since I couldn't run anymore I just stayed home and played guitar :p I'm not very good at it though....
 me just got a metal plate out of my leg after a motorcycle accident 3 1/2 years ago. |

/Slaps Stoic
Gene Simmons?! From KISS?! |
heh, I was wrong then. It's a matter of character, you're strong man like I said! :)
Speaking of religion, I was at this Christian association's grand opening of a women's center today. It was insanely dull, and, as is usual with me, I'd once again forgotten I was attending a severely Christian function, and wore my pentacle. Therefore, I was subject to quite a few "looks" and one lady actually said "nice....necklace..." with this odd expression on her face. |
/Slaps Stoic
Gene Simmons?! From KISS?!
/Stoic's face bleeds ow well...he doesnt know me, why should I know him?! /pathetic effort to justify the lack of essential knowledge :upset: I shall shut up now :D |

Yeah I did add you :D |
Yeah, I have the album. Just listened to it for the first time in a long time. Do you? I remember you had Mary Jane (I think) for FL.
Yeah, I have it. I saw them live (supporting the Wildhearts and Motorhead) and they were amazing, so I got the album as soon as it came out. When R&M's Forced Listening thread started up I kept pushing them, recommending Sick of Doing Time and Tommy Shots, I think, and yeah, I've recommended Mary Jane recently.
and I'm going to watch "rock school" where gene simmons teaches a bunch of english classical music students to Rock.
*Uk tv program.
I think it was on in America first, actually..it started the Friday before I left to go back home, I think. |
If it was anyone other than Gene Simmons, I think it'd have potential as a show.
123. I'd much rather it have been like Zakk Wylde or some other musician of his caliber. You know, someone who actually cares about music and not just money. |

yeah i hate his views on metal and what not he dident care about the vocals or instruments at all he thinks its all about the image.....its sad. even though yngwies got a big ego music wise he wouold have been muccch better. |
So I stole some potassium nitrate from my chemistry lab. This may not seem significant, but it you know what the stuff does, you'll be jealous- Basically, the stuff has the opposite effect as Viagra. If you ingest enough, you won't be able to get a boner for a while. (a) So far, my friends and I have planned this; We're going to mix up a 5 gallon batch of gatorade, and bring it in one of those portable coolers. Then, we'll bring it to our Macho Man volleyball game*, and all the dickheads who are getting laid will drink some, and when they try and do it, they won't be able to.
*Macho Man is basically a volleyball game where the junior guys play the senior guys. The team that wins will earn points in for our homecoming competition. |
 I'd love to hear what you do with that.
|
I think my chem teacher is getting suspicious of my lab partner and I, though. Every other question I ask him has to do with the Potassium Nitrate. :p Plan B would be to let my partner get one of his friends, but it would definitely be cooler to get a bunch of guys.

Shit, Jake, why are you thinking so small? :p If I had a quantity of KNO3, look out. |
My chem teacher is suspicious of me and my partner(s) too, only because we sit and talk and never do any work. :(

I never do work in Physics :(
