Nuthang. But I just got thinking over the summer (long periods of being alone), that life is pretty dull. There are obviously good parts, but I'm never going to do anything worthwhile with my life

And as we all know, any guy's problems, there's a woman at the root of them somewhere...

You still have time to do something with your life, "worthwhile" is all subjective anyways. Just try to enjoy it as much as you can, cause we don't get another one, and worrying about things that you should be enjoying just makes the good things bad... and the point of sadness is to put into sharp relief our happiness.
Without having experienced sadness, you cannot feel truly happy, as you have nothing to compare it to.
Life is a strange thing, and as there's no way to get another one, it's the only thing one can do to make the best of it.

Like I say. Only you can change your life for the better.
You can't just wait for something to go along, because there are millions of people who go right on waiting all their lives.
You gotta make something happen.
With relationships, you have to try, if things go wrong, don't get discouraged too easily, and you have to actually do some positive action to get one in the first place.
