Truth.

I was glancing at this book at the library about the 100 Greatest Album Covers Ever (or something) and they had London Calling. There was all sorts of cool info about the album on it. For example:

Paul smashed his bass so hard on the cover, he broke his watch. As a souvenir, he gave it to the photographer.

(may not be 100% correct, I read it a while ago)

white_riot 06-09-2005 11:55 PM

Can anyone upload some songs off Sandinista for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

In the early 90's Mick almost died of chicken pox.

And to comment on Paul's watch, it was stopped at 10:40 or something.

CombatRock 06-10-2005 02:24 PM

white_riot 06-10-2005 02:50 PM

It doesn't matter, I haven't heard most of those songs so it was good to hear a bit of them. Junco Partner does sound like a good song. Whats with the little kids singing Career Opportunities.

Forest_Fire 06-10-2005 02:53 PM

No one will ever know about that one.

CombatRock 06-10-2005 02:54 PM

what is chiken pox?

that's what I heard too for the watch...I dont remember the exact time, but it broke when he smashed the bass, so he knew exactly at what time he smashed it. I think it was 10:15

guns_of_brixton 06-11-2005 10:57 AM

Chickenpox=a rash type of thing with little red bumps that usually only kids get, but it can be deadly for adults.

Oh, and I won't be here for like 9 days (until the 20th) so keep it real motherf'uckers!
