I really want to see Gilmour play on top of the Wall. I'm right not downloading a video of Comfortably Numb, hoping that they're gonna show that... Hopefully is not the video from the movie.

I saw part of it now, and it's a behind the wall thing, it doesn't appear on the DVD of the Wall, though. They show a lot of them playing a lot of the songs from the Wall live, as well as interviews with all of PF.

None of them liked the idea of the Wall, except Waters.

The only reason why they went with it was because they were in serious need of money.

Otherside 03-23-2005 12:42 PM

My friend's step-dad said he saw PF live. He said during the entire concert they were behind a wall, until the end, where they broke it down, and it was over.

I'd personally think that would suck.

They supposively used a lot of props like huge dolls, a mock band, etc.

Well.. still... I'd reather see PF on their final all-together tour than a bunch of props :\

Yeah, that would've sucked so much ass. You go to see the band play and you get treated with a huge wall instead. That's way Gilmour plays on top of the wall, and somethings are projected to the wall. If not, the tour would've been a flopp... Unless you only care about paying for the music.

slowhand 03-23-2005 01:03 PM

(Sorry for the double post, but I just read this)

"The supporting tour featured an almost life size model spitfire airplane which 'flew' across the top of the arena and crashed into fllames on the stage during the climax of On the Run"

^ That would've been awesome to watch!!

They have it on pulse, you can buy it on VHS.

slowhand 03-23-2005 01:24 PM

I just saw Gilmour playing on top of the wall. It was awesome. I literally got goosebumps when I first saw it. Of course, it wasn't the whole thing, but still it was exciting to finally see it.

Where is your usertitle from?!

I once lay on the floor quite drunk and listened to Dark Side of the Moon (not my favorite choice of PF albums) with 2 friends in complete darkness, was very odd. I think I may have been falling in and out of sleep, was fun.
