First improv comedy show tonight!
I'm looking forward to it - rehearsals went well, we'll see how it goes. I'm so pumped! |
Good luck with it Jom!
|
Thanks :)
It's sad because our show starts ten hours from now, and I have homework + another class to go to. Ohhhhhhh maaannnnnnnnnnn! Sooooooooooooo excited. |
Make sure to make jokes people will actually get. ;) Good luck.
|
We want stories on how it goes and tasters ;).

Yeah, get someone to make a video or something. |
I'm sorting out music for my stupid videos at the moment, I also feel quite excited about nothing.
It could be: It's my birthday on Saturday, and I'm 16. I'm going on holiday on the 11th. My friends appear to be the best they've ever been at the moment. I seem to be able to relax, and have stopped worrying. The fact that colleage holds possibility of incredibly attractive girls. Anyone else feeling good? NP: The Jam - Fever. (.) |
Which college are you going to?
EDIT: And by that I mean thinking about going to, since you're just turning sixteen. :p |
He is British so would you know any of the colleges except Oxford :p?

...No. :( |
EDIT: Oxford is a University, anyway :) Composed of colleges (Magdalen, Corpus Christi, Trinity, etc).
The fact that colleage holds possibility of incredibly attractive girls.
College and university have definitely had that in my experience thus far.
Anyone else feeling good?
I just found out that the lecture I thought I had tomorrow, isn't on, so yeah. On the other hand, I feel kind of bad because a couple of the staff at the front desk have taken to calling me by my first name, and I have no idea what either of their names are. Jom - good luck :) NP The Wildhearts - Got It On Tuesday |

EDIT: And by that I mean thinking about going to, since you're just turning sixteen. :p
I dunno. I live in the U.K, so I thought about it. There's a colleage right by mine, Savio it's called. I wouldn't have normally considered it, yet, it's like 2 minutes away from mine. Just think, during break times, "Darn, I need the toilet, don't wanna go to the ones in here..." "WAIT A SEC!" *runs home*. I was considering taking: Psychology, Genetics. :) |

I realised just after posting but I couldn't be bothered to edit :p. |
I'm pretty sure I aced my psychology exam

Good stuff? I'm just pretty much fascinated by mental health, and all of it's affiliates. I would appreciate some unglorifyed "real student" views on it. All I get from the colleages is nothing but gold, I need to hear honest stuff. :p |

Is there anything you'd like to know about that? |

Credit: Tucci. /// I really want to teach psychology, but I don't want to be a psychologist. It's an entirely interesting topic to me, and I do a great job in explaining it (I had to teach a class a lesson on something in psych, and I aced the project thanks to my natural charisma... I mean, knowing what I was talking about), I just don't want to be an actual psychologist :) |

I had her for College Prep English, not Psych :p |

Pffffffffffffffffffffft. That doesn't detract from her being a psycho. |
I loved Psychology in school (6th form college). I applied for a few Psychology courses at universities (and a Psychology/Philosophy one at Leeds, actually), but ended up just going with straight Philosophy.

NP Supershit 666 - You Smell Canadian
I was just wondering; when you study philosophy at uni/college, do you study works of other philosophers, or do you work on making your own philosophies? (didn't know how to phrase that) |

Don't know about college (didn't take it before University level) but mostly it's a mixture of the two. Usually the first leading to the second. It also depends on what module you take, e.g. ; i) I'm taking a module this year called Sartre and Nietzsche, so fairly obviously, the bulk of the module is devoted to reading texts by those two, and attempting to understand them. ii) Last year I took a module called Introduction to Ethics. In that, we were introduced to some of the key ideas and concepts and such in moral philosophy, sometimes by reading texts by noted individuals (Plato, for example, or Peter Singer for a more modern example) and sometimes just by having it explained to us and then reading texts to secure the ideas in our heads. I don't think I've encountered a module yet which excludes one or the other - possible exception being Logic, where I can't recall reading any important texts. Crucially though, the end aim was to educate us enough, both on other people's opinions and on good ways to form opinions, to allow us to form our own opinions on whatever the subject was (again, the exception being Logic). |
I wanted to post this in the request music thread, but since it not music, I wasn't sure it was the right place, so I will ask here
could anyone upload Guitar Pro 4 (or is there any newer version already) on to YSI for me, cause my version GP 4, doesn't allow me open files anymore. I have the full version, so I have no clue how this comes. please add the key password thingy too, otherwise it's still worthless thanks people :) my addy is in my profile |
