Aren't you a fag?

Brokensticks 08-23-2006 01:28 AM

Haha that made me Laugh!

Sync0pation 08-23-2006 01:30 AM

I heard somewhere that John Frusciante is a homo. I didn't know this, is it wrong or have I been living under a rock?

Janeway 08-23-2006 01:40 AM

Yes, but I pickle in my self loathing.

What the hell is it with everyone getting up?
My mother came down first, then my father, and just now my sister. =/

I hate interruptions during my hot cocoa and J7 time.

Josiah 08-23-2006 01:52 AM

Awww perhaps your much needed intervention is finally coming to pass...

Cocaberry 08-23-2006 01:56 AM

Instead of telling us you hate interruptions why don't you just tell your mom, dad, and sister? That may make more of a difference.

I know Kiedis sounds a bit fruity when he talks. Kiedis is a cool guy, though. I'm 80-something pages into "Scar Tissue", but it's not the book I'm currently working on.

And I just figured out a great way to get some possible recognition for my writing. I've written a couple articles on anti-war topics (along with some others that I haven't submitted), but none of the newspapers will print them due to possible controversy. But I know the people who work at the youth center are quite anti-war, so I'm guessing if I left a bunch of things for kids to read and bring home, maybe I'd actually get something across.

Jezen 08-23-2006 07:43 AM

Exchange rates delayed the purchase of our new home. I am still in sh!tty Darlington. I have no internet and am writing to you from an iMac in a smelly eCafe. The shame. :upset:

On the other hand, it's given me a little time to work on New Breed and Conversations in Clave. Currently: New Breed 7:5A.

Drum Phil 08-23-2006 07:45 AM

Drum Phil 08-23-2006 02:08 PM

So. Im in one of those angry moods today so im sat yelling along to rise against :)

Corkofski 08-23-2006 02:13 PM

hmm, i'm trying to record using one mic, but i need less boom from my bass. its very echoey on the recording with no definition. i know all about needing projection for live, i am just doing a bit of recording for a laugh so i dont want to buy a new mic or w/e, just need ideas for more thud, click or w/e

Drum Phil 08-23-2006 02:36 PM

Does anyone know any audio mastering programs?

Corkofski 08-23-2006 02:40 PM

im using audacity atm

try sony acid?

Drum Phil 08-23-2006 02:41 PM

Audacity doesnt do anything for me :-/

Im trying to remaster my bands tracks

Corkofski 08-23-2006 02:41 PM

and acid?

Josiah 08-23-2006 02:43 PM

I use Acid and love it. I use it for making loops and mixing. It's not as powerful as the super high end software, but for our lil home shops it does just fine.

Drum Phil 08-23-2006 02:51 PM

Im trying to bring out the bass in my bands demo a little more and havent a clue how.

maniac0796 08-23-2006 03:38 PM
Im trying to bring out the bass in my bands demo a little more and havent a clue how.
You need to of recorded it with a multi track recording thing, so the bass is on it's own track. Then you can use acid and stuff to enhance it and stuff.

stevensonmat2 08-23-2006 03:59 PM

Is acid free?

Corkofski 08-23-2006 04:04 PM

^if you're clever, yes

in 12 hours i get my exam results
oooh ****...

Time 08-23-2006 04:06 PM

man, I just saw this band live and now I really want a Maryland Drum set.

Corkofski 08-23-2006 04:12 PM

the pit is back

Maggot Dream 08-23-2006 04:20 PM

Yeah, it's definitely been back for like a week now.

Sletalla 08-23-2006 04:24 PM

It's been back for a while, but I'm sure it'll be gone again in two weeks.

stylers_new_account 08-23-2006 04:25 PM

i saw the most screwed up thing last night...

on kimmel live T.I. was performing...with barker as his drummer.

anybody else find that screwed up?

stevensonmat2 08-23-2006 04:31 PM

I saw that last night on leno...weird. But yeah, as if travis wasnt lame enough. TI and travis-ty, no good.

Sletalla 08-23-2006 04:31 PM

No. I saw him on TV talking about how much he loves hip hop, and how punk it is.

Too bad it's the terrible kind of hip hop. Not that I would really expect more from him, though.

Drum Phil 08-23-2006 04:44 PM
You need to of recorded it with a multi track recording thing, so the bass is on it's own track. Then you can use acid and stuff to enhance it and stuff.
It was done proffessionally. I might just send it off to be remastered.

Win A Rabbit 08-23-2006 05:01 PM

I went for my x-ray today, and picked up "But I'm a Cheerleader", since it finally came in.

I picked up two piano etude booklets, that are WAY above my level. A Bach one and a Chopin one. $4 each for like 50 pages in each. Looks like I'll just try going through them real slow.

Corkofski 08-23-2006 05:33 PM

OH DEAR...

i have a habit of throwing my sticks around when i finish practise. as a result, my 2nd monitor has a big white patch in the middle...

****it

White 08-23-2006 05:49 PM
Hey white is back, haven't seen him in a while.

I took a nap that felt like 5 hours long, but it was actually just an hour.
Ya i really never come here any more lol, i don know why

Sync0pation 08-23-2006 05:58 PM

Yeah man I took a half an hour long nap today, felt like a couple hours. Then at night when I get the chance to sleep 6 hours before work, I wake up and it's felt like 15 mins. Why does this happen. WHY
