I still live with my parents
not having to pay for food/cook every day is great :)

Paying for food sucks but I buy better food then my parents do, and I like cooking every night so it ain't no thang.

slow cooker is my best friend, make something on monday or tuesday and it feeds me for 3 days

yeah I like cooking too but when I get home from school at 530 I don't to spend an hour making dinner while being super hungry.

my dad is also a better cook than me so that's a plus too

it always amazes me how many college students are just wholly incapable of any sort of cooking

I need to get one just so I can have a stock of soup to eat whenever I want.

when i lived on my own, i survived on a box granola for a week, then i survived on cans of salmon for a bit too, i just choose not to cook tho

nobody understands this statement more than me

yea sam that only works if you're planning to die before you hit 30 or live at home your whole life.

I've had friends want me to teach them to cook, I always tell them it won't be free and then they don't want to learn anymore.

Yeah, I know how that is. My sister and brother in law ended up getting married in Cuba with just close friends and family to avoid having a huge expensive Itali-wop wedding.

If I ever get a really nice six pack I'll usually just have one with dinner or something because some beers compliment certain foods very well, and having a beer after a tough day has a nice relaxing element to it, like tea but different idk.
