I'm going to see Bob Dylan now :D
Lucky :upset: July 18, 19, and 20, he's in Vancouver (my hometown). All sold out, of course... |
I don't go see concerts.
I'd like to but my parents always argue against every concert that comes. Bob Dylan is too old to sing and play according to them. /writes emo song |
Whats a good Alan Parsons Project album?
Eye in the sky. The best I think. I have it and It's really good. |

If I wanted to go, my mom would beg to go with me. I'm so psyched for my Alice Cooper concert in October!!!!! |

Here's a link to the page it was on.
Nick Drake #99! |
Nick Drake #99!
Minor problem ;) Compared to Leadbelly and Pete Seeger not being in the top 5!!! |
Yeah, I used to post on that website, I think the lists are pretty good. THen they went to a traditional forum thing and I didn't feel like joining
|
Nick Drake #99!
I share in your indignance. I haven't heard of most of the guys on that list. |
Lucky :upset:

He didn't come to NY, but he came to Norwich, CT on Monday which is near where I live. There were plenty of tickets, but I had my last final exam on Tuesday so she wouldn't let me go. :upset: |
Nick Drake #99!
Ya, not that good a site. I think I found the link originally on this forum. |
I like some of their lists. Sure they're never going to be perfect for anyboby, but they're interesting to look at.

Yeah, it'd be imipossible to make a list that is accurate and suits everybody's needs. But yes Nick should've been higher. |
Why do all n00bs flame rap?
Yeah and their n00b idol Jimmy page played in a rap song /still likes led zeppelin |
Wow did I hate that, Jimmy Page playing a modified Kashmir to P Diddy rapping.. :upset:
/sadface I'm over it. *EDIT* Joni Mitchell is too high on that list. I can't look at those lists without getting upset :\ |

I lost my Grateful Dead one :| To lazy to re-upload.
So I stole this pile. /joedirt |
THey definitley try hard on those lists. I just think that they are based too heavily on influence.
|
what list
|
what list
A page back, there was a link posted to 100 greatest folk artists. You can find many many more lists on that site |
I just watched Almost Famous.
|
I just watched Almost Famous.
Other than Kate Hudson's ta-tas, I didn't find that flick all that memorable. |
I enjoyed it. Granted I had just smoked some David Crosby-worthy ganja, but the movie was still pretty good.

Yeah, I own it on DVD :) Cameron Crowe says it wasn't true (;)), but there is definitely some truth in there. He of course was (realistically) William, and each of the characters represent real musician, I believe. Check out the resemblances... Russel Hammond - Dickey Betts :amaze: Jeff Bebe - Paul Rodgers Drummer - John Bonham (check out the set also) Bassist - I don't know |
Bassist - I don't know
Oh, great |
I just saw New York, New York
the movie that robert deniro is a jazz artist didn't really like it |
Hahahaha, "Dickey Betters".
|
Ha,
*quick edit* |
So I'm going to a burning spear concert, not really classic rock, but I saw some talk about them here.
Reagge concerts are cool, i think its as close to woodstock as I can get. |
