Thanks anyway though.

Kingofdudes 09-28-2005 07:14 PM

Ugh, my AC is busted. tonight is gonna suck :-(

Shadows 09-28-2005 07:15 PM

Is it hot over there? I'm freezing right now, and my house is all closed up. It's been in the 30's every morning lately.

Kingofdudes 09-28-2005 07:18 PM

i live in Southern Mississippi. Weather doesnt get cold here until literally Christmas week.

Its about 85 degrees in here ATM.

Shadows 09-28-2005 07:19 PM

Holy Jesus. :( I'm cold as hell right now. Damn this Ohio weather reminiscent of the cold Scandinavian moon, of which the clash of swords echoes to the vhemence above!

Meh, 30's isn't bad. I had to use a converter to tell what that was haha. We use Celsuis in Canada.

Anyway, it's in the 40's here, and I'm still wearing a t-shirt outside.

/likes cold weather

Shadows 09-28-2005 07:28 PM

Oooooohh, Canadian. :( It's alright, I love the cold weather. :) I'm a winter guy. I just don't find it pleasant waking up in a 30 degree (F, of course) room and blindly feeling around in the dark trying to get ready for school. I've still been wearing a t-shirt (outside of school, of course) around though.

RiceMonster 09-28-2005 07:33 PM

Ah, that does sound bad. I see what you mean about waking up in the dark, I would hate that.

Also, the funny thing is 30C is kind of hot (30C = 86F), so when I saw that I was thinking "Holy shit, you find that cold!? :amaze:"

In Minnesota, spring officially starts when the temp hits 40. If we got up and the thermometer said 40, out came the shorts and t-shirt for the day.

Shadows 09-28-2005 07:35 PM

Hahahaha, no. If my scientific mind is working, I think it's right around 0C in.

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-28-2005 07:36 PM

Here, it's about 400 degrees. IN MY PANTS!

/is the lamest guy ever

My region has some extreme weather changes. During the summer, it can reach 105 F, and it can stoop down to zero during January. Right now, our lows are mid 30's, and our highs are in the 70's.

This is a reason why I hated when school started. When school starts, it is always a sign of sunny days, fairly warm and the start of cold as freakin' crap nights and mornings.

Sucks to jump out of a nice warm and toasty bed to the cold... :\

That's how it is here in Oregon as well, kind sucks.

I was over in Bend over the week end dirt biking, and it's still pretty hot during the day there, but at night it hits below freezing. Desert region ++

Hey Jason, how is your remodeling project going at your house/at that lady's house? Is it completed yet?

People in your area are more Canadian than in mine :(. All people do here is complain about cold weather and how they hate snow. As soon as winter hits, all I hear is "OMG it's so cold out here, and my pants are all wet from the snow! wine wine, bitch, bitch, etc". I onl;y wear a cote if I'm going to be outside for a while, so when people see me not wearing a coat I constantly hear "HOW COULD YOU NOT BE WEARING A JACKET IN -5 (23F) WEATHER!?". I tell most of them to move south haha.

Congratulations 09-28-2005 07:46 PM

The darndest thing happened to me today. A practicing morman called me a jackass. I didn't know what to say, I just laughed. I never thought I would hear the kid swear. It really made my day.

Yes, the bleak symbol of black has come once again. As the cold dark mist of death embraces me, I realize that nothing is as it once was. People come and go as the light of the flame flickers and dies - it shows that it was not to be. We as a people, as a race, must fight for what we believe. We must never stop searching. We need to find what it is that makes us whole - makes us human - and clasp it deep within us to our souls. We can never let go of who we are. The search may not be over soon. It may not even ever end. But what does matter is life. Precious life, it ebbs from our aching fingers ever second we squander with lifelss indulgences, forgetting that the meaning of importence lies in no way in what we've done. Every breath we take is a reminder that what is now shall never be again. They cometh for us, yet we cannot stop them. Only that which we have searched for - so valiantly, yet so blindly - can protect us from the falling of our minds into the ensnaring grasp of doom. Never forget my friends - life is short, and the meaning is hidden. In the end, everything we do is just everything we've done.

That probably took way to much time to think/write up.

Also that poem at the end of Stone Sour's album is pretty interesting/funny heh.

/pretty sure the last part of that is from that, correcto mundo?

Jason, who the hell is that goofy fucker in your avatar?

Shadows 09-28-2005 08:11 PM

The very very last sentence about "everything we do..." is. Everything else is original. I think this stuff up spontaneously everyday, so it took me about five minutes. :) It took longer to type it than it did to think it up. People always laugh when I go on these metaphorical rants with a perfectly straight face. It's great.

Wicked picture. I had no idea there were FF movies. /FF n00b Anyways, I'm going to be spending Thanksgiving weekend near Bend(Terrebonne/Redmond area) so if you're in the neighborhood, we should go build houses, or something. :p
Only that very last sentence. If there is something else similar, it's a coinsidence, I swear! :)
Must be.

I just listened to it, exactly the same word for word. heh.

Jake : They made a sequel to Final Fantasy 7, but they made it into a movie called Final Fantasy 7 : Advent Children. The fight scenes make The Matrix look lame heh.

Especially when they fight Bahamut in the city.

Bend is a good 2 and a half hours from my house, about 190 miles. And I doubt I am going riding down there that week end heh.

What route do you guys go to go down to Bend? Over through Sandy and up and over Mt Hood, or through Salem?

Kingofdudes 09-28-2005 08:29 PM
That sucks, man. Hopefully covered by insurance?
Yeah, but a lot of insurance companies have been screwing people down here in the ass, so who knows.

I need to take some pictures of the beach, such a horrible sight.
