i've never had an iPod break on me. I had a click-wheel for like two years, a video for like 3 and i've had this classic four like two.

my macbook hasn't frozen or crashed, not once, in four years.

I'm posting this from a PC. Both have their uses. I grew up on Apple's though, I never touched a PC until I was like 10. It's what happens when you grow up in the print and music industry I guess.

would probably get a mac if I could afford one tbh, not like I'd be missing functionality by switching with what I use it for

It's a closed environment (they control the hardware) so OS X is generally more stable than other OS's. OS X is also built on unix <3
and the laptops are pretty which is why most people get them
