It was hilarious. I just thought that that made up genre was awesome.
lol i like this quote from it to Six Foot Revolver

it was....unexpected
Now that you mention it I remember posting that :amaze:.
It was hilarious. I just thought that that made up genre was awesome.
It pissed Dargon off so much for some reason. I remember him begging you to change it :p. Going over old times is fun.

Arucard 09-28-2005 04:12 PM

Well, i'm off to bed as my essay is finished. Goodnight everyone.

...I wish Dargon would return :(

Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 04:14 PM

Good night Joe.

That's only because you want to join the death to poseurs crew.

Kurtz 09-28-2005 04:26 PM

Dargon must be one of the only members in MX history to say he was going to leave for good and actually mean it.

NP: Dillinger Escape Plan - Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants

I hate whoring that band, but anyone that hasn't checked them out yet needs to soon.

Huber 09-28-2005 04:32 PM
I thought that Drew's thread insulting Dargon was funnier, although some of the things Bobo said were hysterical.

Of course, due to the new filter, the title reads:

"Dargon, get the sand out of your omnibus."

That thread rocked. I miss The JoZ...

I only really enjoy their EP with Mike Patton, I think.

/rep talk

A yes, the bi-monthly talk about rep AND Lord Dargon, it's like a two-fer!

*puts on reading spectacles

I was but a child, and my sense of humor earned me the reputation of a blooming high school basketball phenomenon. Eventually I had recieved the highly-desired four stars and became a BAMF. Soon, I recieved humorous reputation comments from such users as Symphony_X, Lord Dargon, Jom, and various Pit kids. It made me giggle to an extent and I can't believe I just said that. The point is, that I had rep, it was good, and that era and time in life is over. I must now deal with the fact that I suck.

Actually, screw you guys, I'm going to band practice

EDIT: I'm so horribly late, it's not even funny. But I haven't done a stroy time with ICB lately so there we go.

Well, I just brought home my cello :)

It's pretty hard to play, though. I kind of thought I could just pick it up and immediatly start playing some beautiful melodies :-/

I'm looking online for lessons right now.

morrissey 09-28-2005 05:26 PM

I was thinking of picking up the violin but I was deterred for the same reasons. Good luck, I hear it's a very tough instrument. But beautiful.

Bartender 09-28-2005 05:28 PM

One of my flatmates of last year quite out of the blue bought a violin on eBay one day. To this day I've no idea why. I don't think she has, either.

Shweet.

Yeah, you can't just pick up any instrument and automatically play it like that, man :p .

superpeer 09-28-2005 05:39 PM

I did pretty okay the first time on a banjo, I played it like a guitar though and it didn't sound Western enough.

ATM 09-28-2005 05:43 PM

DuesExMachina lives near me and plays the cello, so I think he is going to help me find a teacher.

I rented it for 6 months for 100 dollars. Not bad at all.

They said I can rent a violin for a year for only $85 :-D

No, I hate it too. It looks kind of obnoxious to me.

It looks like somebody is shoving their thumb in your face.

Nope. Jurialmunkey (who you likely don't know but he's been around for years) launched a campaign against it last year, to no avail.

Shattered_Future 09-28-2005 06:09 PM

Does anybody know where I can find a Mac compatible free WMA converter?

I deleted the one I had by accident, and now it turns out you have to PAY for it, instead of having it as freeware...

Any suggestions/links, whatnot?
