I fall into the camp with the opinion that if he's being an a[font=verdana]s[/font]shole, screw him. Just don't talk to him (provided he's not a good friend or anything, naturally), and if he tries condescending looks and stuff, just point out that he's the jackass that got caught; he was smoking it in the first place.

I gather you're not a fan of this approach though.
