Seek and destroy is probably my favorite metal riff. But as an album it's definetely RTL.
Every time I hear that riff I get chills down my spine...it's just incredible.

Did ya'll know that the studio they recorded Kill E'm all in is now a hard rock cafe? that's pretty cool.

For the longest time I played the S&D Riff wrong...it's kinda funny thinking about it.

Yea, I've been playing it wrong for a long time too. I finally got it right a few months back though. I know I'm playing Battery wrong now. That's awesome about HRC. It also only took 21 days

My fade to black! Listen! Competition thread!

SAT's weren't bad. It was writing the statement on the back in cursive that was bad. I hadn't written in cursive in nearly 6 or 7 years.

blue3 01-28-2006 04:40 PM

You had trouble with S&D? The rhythm is pretty easy on that song and that album for that matter.

No just the intro. I don't have problems with rythym. I'm a rythym guitarist.

I tried learning the solo a whille back but I read in guitar world that Kirk said "If I could take back one solo it would be the s&d solo"

Because he through it together in 30 minutes and was partially out of tune when he played it. so rather then learning a improve solo I went for some more "thought out solo's"

Finally learned orion on bass.
Man that must have taken me at least 2 weeks altogether >_<
But it sounds awesome

PepsiMetal 01-29-2006 02:14 AM

The bass line in the slower part is probably my favorite bass riff. Favorite guitar riff as i already said is shortest straw.
Kill 'em All would have to be my favorite album.

I LOVE the sound of it, and the songs are amazing.

/random post
I like Kill 'Em All, but the sound is horrible. And i mean the quality. The album is not well recorded, but the songs kick ***.:chug:

krook3d 01-29-2006 08:06 AM

My favorite album of the moment right now is probably ...And Justice For All.
It sometimes changes, maybe next week it's mop. But i never had a moment that my fav. album was Load or so.

Jev 01-29-2006 08:16 AM
