Start with Something Wicked This Way Comes. If you like that then Horror Show, Night of the Stormrider, Burnt Offerings, Dark Saga, and Glorious Burden, which is dam[size=2]n[/size] near every album, is very good. I've heard all their albums and loved them all.

My favourite Iced Earth song is The Coming Curse (off of Something Wicked), also try Travel in Stygian. I recently got their greatest hits, "The Blessed and the ****ed." Rockin good music, I was totally surprised when I found out they were from America, cos they totally sound like a Swedish power metal band.

I don't see how everyone classes them as power metal. They're much more like 80's old school thrash/heavy metal in the likes of Maiden, Priest, or old Metallica.
