Yeah, awesome news.

That Blacklisted/Converge tour better have a show here, that'd be nuts.

Blacklisted+Converge=Me busting a nut in my pants

NewKindofArmy03 08-10-2006 11:55 PM

Have you ever been to The Chameleon? I might make the trip for the Hatebreed/Exodus/Napalm Death show. I'm probably either going to that or Allentown.
- It's official: BLACKLISTED staying together, word direct from the band...

Hello.
Anyone that has been following the BLACKLISTED rumor mill has probably heard every thing under the sun regarding this band. To clear things up I would first like to say, thank you to anyone who has showed any interest and emailed, messaged or otherwise got in touch with us, giving kind words to stay together. While driving across the country to play Sound and Fury, I got a phone call from a friend in Chicago for us to play there on our way back home, We had been talking about how we thought we made a bad decision with "breaking up" so the prospect of another show was a good one. After we found a bass player and confirmed for the Chicago show, we got offered two more shows (Denver, Omaha). After playing these shows and continuing on our "mini-tour" we all for the first time since Tim left the band felt on the same page about continuing on without him. Our experience at Sound And Fury alone was enough to make us re-evaluate our decision, one of the most intense experiences we have ever had as a band. We can’t wait for next year. With that said BLACKLISTED is still a band, we will be touring the United states all of September. October we will be going to Europe with RISE AND FALL and in November we will be doing around a week or so with a band that says there are NO HEROES...

Thanks for everything everybody.

- BLACKLISTED
Hell yes. I bet the last show LPs will be worth more now. :chug:

Dude, seriously, don't. The Chameleon is horrible. Horrible environment, horrible people, and it's HELLA smokey in there. I always feel sick after I leave the Chameleon. And security there are jerk-offs.

Lazybassplr56 08-11-2006 01:20 PM

Is that guy with the redneck hair cut from Sound & Fury going to play bass for them now?

Blacklisted's Moondog cover. Supposed to have been released for a comp, never happened.

Lazybassplr56 08-11-2006 01:34 PM

Good song, it's on the new Deathcast.

Probably the last Balls Out show last night

Go It Alone set was pretty insane for a show with like 15-20 people on the floor

I'm pretty sure i was gonna ask you about this. I think, its the show with GIA, Ceremony and Balls Out? Or did I get it mixed up. Either way, their last show had an awesome bill....

Lazybassplr56 08-11-2006 10:30 PM

Damn Balls Out are calling it quits?

faith and fiction 08-12-2006 02:05 AM

Yeah, Riley told me like they might do some stuff later and keep one new song they just wrote but Balls Out is done.

But who knows maybe this new band will be even better.

Feel The Darkness 08-12-2006 03:55 AM

The show tonight was rad. Have Heart, Verse, Shipwreck, Go It Alone, and Ceremony. I went for Verse and to check out Ceremony, but Shipwreck and GIA stole the show for me. They were so awesome. I hadn't heard much from Shipwreck, but HOOOOOOOLLLLLYYYYYYYYY SSSSHHHHHHHHIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTT, they're basically a crossover band with more of a thrash metal feel than the hc punk trip. So awesome.

That sucks. Supposedly the venue in Allentown is horrible too. I guess i'll try going to NJ then.

Lazybassplr56 08-12-2006 07:11 PM

Hows Karaterex with their shirts? Has anybody ever bought sh!t from them?

NewKindofArmy03 08-12-2006 09:04 PM

Mannnnn, f'uck those kids for getting pointless fest cancelled. I really wanted to go see RAMBO, Paint it Black, 1905, and Magrudergrind tomorrow.

Jersey's Best Dancer 08-12-2006 09:10 PM

WTF Happened?!?! I just got an e-mail from PIB saying the show is canceled. I'm extremely pissed off right now. I left vacation early to come home and see this, I already had tickets and ****. I'm guessign the kids were not from Philly, cause that **** never happenes around here. From what I've notice around here is that the punk and hardcore scenes are very mature and there is a scence of unity. I'd be suprised if the kids were from Philly, w/e they did...

NewKindofArmy03 08-12-2006 09:27 PM

Most likely not kids from here. I don't know if you've been to pointless fest before but a lot of scumbag train hoppers/squatters come out of the woodwork. You'll never catch them inside considering they don't pay to watch the show. Thursday they supposedly robbed a liquor store. And yesterday supposedly there was problems and I hear over 100 cops were there by the end.

Pointless Fest is done for good.

Jersey's Best Dancer 08-12-2006 09:34 PM

Mother****er piece of **** kids. This **** is so ****ed up... Thx for the info cause I haven't been able to get any from anyone.

YDload 08-13-2006 12:28 AM

Just a small question here: where should threads about The Dillinger Escape Plan go? I think they're grind/hardcore, but I guess they have a lot of threads in Rock/Metal just cause its a more popular forum. Any idea?

Jersey's Best Dancer 08-13-2006 12:53 AM
Outbreak totally ****ing own. Oh man.
Yeah, the first time i saw them I didnt really take to it, but when I saw them again, I realized it was good stuff. I got their new album 'Failure' and it's really good..

NewKindofArmy03 08-13-2006 01:26 AM

Yo, Hirax and Anal Cunt are playing a show in october, that's going to destroy.

TakeWarning 08-13-2006 03:03 AM
