But mappys a vocalist in a good band...thus he knows better than us regarding vox.

I can do any of the vocals that Mappy can do and I can sing like a mofo. Doesn't mean I have a right to be a snob. =)

Just saying his lows have a lot of effects on them in studio, and sound like **** live.

I'm pretty pumped to record with my new band though and show off my skillz.

Same. It's going weirdly though because our guitarist commutes to practice from Philly now.

I kind of wanna try to get them to practice, just the guitarist and the drummer for like a week to get the songs down so that we can just record them.

Because I'm worthless in the songwriting process, and probably distracting, lol.

I think I would just be able to write lyrics and vocal lines better if I have a decent quality recording of it because it's too noisy at practice. :/

Vocals on [I]Jhazmyne's Lullaby[/I] are superior don't care what mapster says.

I feel you. I'm south of Baltimore and I have to drive up to Aberdeen, which is a bit north. I like to be there during the songwriting process though so I can tell em to shorten parts and so on. What kind of music are you guys doing? Ours is like techy prog death with melodic elements, lol.

Noisy grind in the vein of like Tower Of Rome, but also really influenced by Converge and Discordance Axis.

So a weird mix of grind and metalcore I guess.
