As far as I am aware, voluntary abortion is only legal within the first trimester of development. During the embryonic period.
This is a stage where it is pretty much biologically identical to the placenta. And I've never heard any Pro Lifers trying to protect the life of the placenta. I'd like to hear a Pro Lifers approach on how to deal with an unborn diagnosed with anencephaly. |
Basically, in this country the prolife argument comes down to that life begins at some indefinable moment at conception and that if there are prenatal diseases or disorders, it's gods plan.

I think it's a firing of a common mamalian instict.
When we see a featus (like in an ultrasound) and can make out face, eyes, limbs, etc. We reckognise human-like characteristics and feel compassion for it. It takes a greater level of understanding of embryonic development to understand that most mammal embryos look very similar. Most have faces, eyes, limbs, etc. Up until the point where specific genes kick in and it starts developing in a way specific into its own species. It takes a greater level of understanding to know that, up until that point, it is not human yet. |
lol mx guitar forum.
Politics means a lot in the long run guys, keep worrying about it. you can totally make a difference. |

The people have a right to bear arms against an oppressive government, but only arms that will be in any way effective e.g. helicopter gunships, not wimpy handguns The people must fund said gunships themselves if they want them |
i want a gun
i reckon id be more manly with a gun the police here don't even carry guns, and im pretty sure i got caught in a speed trap a few moments ago... crafty lil fellas, wasnt goin that fast though, i reckon lots worse, hopefully im alrite, i wudnt mind but it was less than a 1 minute drive i had to do down the road from where i live, ill be pissed if that happens Edit: i think im ok, the undercover police car just sped by chasing someone with the sirens on chasing a ford fiesta doesnt have the same jazz for them i guess |

.
yeah,sorry about that everyone. |
the fact that it was real anger rather than drunk trolling kinda makes it funnier
|
i'm too relaxed when i'm drunk it would have been the opposite.
to be honest i don't know why i got that angry. the first response i wrote down to SBT was different and than i changed it and went off. anyway how is everyone? went to go see UFC in the theater with my wife. pretty sweet price. i laughed at the VIP section with the armed cop and velvet rope i've never seen anything like that before lol |
then you flipped out and went batshit nuts
|
Lol the car analogy is one of the most retarded things I've ever heard. The difference is cars are not a public service, hospitals are. If you get seriously hurt you're going to a hospital and they're going to save your life. As of right now if someone gets treatment and they don't have insurance or a way to pay for it WE the taxpayers pay for it, the new bill makes sure everyone is responsible for paying for their own medical care by way of insurance or by paying a tax.
Josh got it right, the IRS will collect the new tax just like they collect every other tax. I didn't accept your video because it was an edited to ****, taken out of context GOP suckfest. Mine was a factual example of what teabaggers are like. They're a right-wing extremist group who just hasn't gotten violent YET. Looks like you're the one drinking the Republican kool-aid. |
Obama has done a pretty damn good job so far considering the mess Bush dropped in his lap and having to deal with butthurt republicans obstructing progress every chance they get.
How are republicans obstructing anything? Obama had over a year with a filibuster-proof majority, where republicans were completely powerless. The people truly obstructing Obama's agenda were moderate democrats, and those holding out for special deals. A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down, yes?
Have you actually met any of those teabagger idiots? 'Cause I have, and they are the single most ignorant, uneducated, racist, xenophobic, homophobic, religiously brainwashed group of ****tard sheep I have ever laid eyes on.
...lol. With only minor alterations this could be the classic racist argument. The logic would remain untouched, thats for sure. Here in California they are as pissed at Bush and the GOP as they are with Obama, and most of them have had a history of opposing socialized medicine regardless of the color of the person suggesting it. Many of the events feature speeches by constitutional scholars, and other well schooled folks, and because of the man made water crisis going on here, there are an awful lot of Hispanic farmers in attendance. J.C Watts, and Allen West are both big hits with the tea partiers as well... I'm not doubting that you met some bad examples of the movement (although I have suspicions regarding the respect you may have extended them in discourse) but you're bound to get in trouble ANY time you allow your experiences with a few to dictate your opinion of the whole of any group. |
did you seriously actually laugh at that?
I was about to say let's skulk off back to the grown-ups thread but then i remembered timjim was around and frankie was throwing a hissie fit |

yeah but seriously if you ever let a drunk person drive again i hope you crash into something and lose a limb before you can hit somebody who doesn't deserve it |
yeah mnemonic that isn't good man
i used to get drunk with this chick i knew and we would go on drives and get food now looking back on it that wasn't so smart |
And even if you don't drive or you don't even own a car, you still have to pay taxes that go to public works such as road repair and maintenance.
So what is your point? I believe those taxes are carried out by the Cities/States. One of the main reasons D.A.'s of various states are bringing up litigation against the Government as they believe [under the 10th amendment] that the Fed. Gov. isn't given the power to mandate health care in the Constitution, and hence forth it is only within the power of the states and people to do such things.
Also, you don't have to purchase health insurance, you just pay a small tax each year.
Yeah, they're getting taxed using a census. Just admit it, you I gave you the definition.
Lol the car analogy is one of the most retarded things I've ever heard.
Yet it is one of the most used analogies I hear from liberals; why I brought it up.
The difference is cars are not a public service, hospitals are. If you get seriously hurt you're going to a hospital and they're going to save your life.
Yeah, it is called their job. That and I'm pretty sure the majority of hospitals are in the PRIVATE sector and with-hold the right to reject any one they want to reject. Even as a public service, they don't have to treat you unless you need immediate care.
As of right now if someone gets treatment and they don't have insurance or a way to pay for it WE the taxpayers pay for it,
So now WE the taxpayers pay for those who make less than a certain amount of money each year despite if they do or do not have health insurance. WE the taxpayers will also be paying for it if the can or can not pay for it on their own. Not even mentioning WE the taxpayers will be paying for the illegal aliens trip to the hospital who don't even pay taxes.
the new bill makes sure everyone is responsible for paying for their own medical care by way of insurance or by paying a tax.
Well this is wrong as there will be a lot of people that get free health insurance cause they don't have a job/good job. Then those with health care that the government thinks is too good are going to be subject to the Cadillac tax when it goes into affect.
Josh got it right, the IRS will collect the new tax just like they collect every other tax.
They are collecting them on the basis of a census. Which is against the 16th Amendment. Which is why you see Obama and them using the term "penalty" instead of "tax". As the 16th amendment applies to taxes.
I didn't accept your video because it was an edited to ****, taken out of context GOP suckfest. Mine was a factual example of what teabaggers are like. They're a right-wing extremist group who just hasn't gotten violent YET..
 There really isn't much to say to that. It is just stupid pigeon-hole stupidity. X group that has nothing to do with Y group except they are both Republican's proves that Y group will do exactly what X group did. That is what you are saying, and that is FALSE. If you can't tell that, you're just blind or ignorant. |
i remember i came in on night completly pissed off my head and went on a drive, i completly was off the case and almost crashed
never doe it again i can drive after a beer or 3 fine but don't do it outa principle just incase get caught or anything, but yeah dont do it |
LFD you need to reread what I said, and actually go read the healthcare bill.
Private hospitals are a huge ****ing minority. I been all up and down the eastern part of the U.S. and you know how many private hospitals I've seen? 1, the one in my hometown that was owned by nuns. The rest are all public, paid for by us. Taxpayers WILL NOT pay for the healthcare of other people with this bill. They will either buy insurance or pay the tax, whether they have a job or not, if they don't they go to jail end of story. Illegal aliens ARE NOT covered by this bill, there are specific provisions in it for that, you'd know that if you read it. And teabaggers have more in common with right-wing extremist groups than just being Republicans. |
