PaulSimonon 08-31-2004 04:22 PM

Foxfire 08-31-2004 04:23 PM

Foxfire 08-31-2004 04:28 PM

I fixed it.

I think it'll be pretty cool. I read somewhere that Coltrane's son is going to be doing a tribute.

Left Shoe 08-31-2004 04:29 PM

thatd be weird , doing a tribute to your dad , id throw in some hate n such , lets see how coltrane treated his son lol

Foxfire 08-31-2004 04:30 PM

"My father beat me with his saxophone when I told him I thought bass was cool."

Left Shoe 08-31-2004 04:33 PM

lol the picture i get in my head of someone beatgin someone else with a saxophone is really humorous

e p 08-31-2004 04:33 PM

Thanks for the info Fox. Luckily my dad, a bass player and into jazz, will most lickely take me. Thanks again.

Foxfire 08-31-2004 04:34 PM

No problem. I'm sure it'll be pretty badass.

joshmay 08-31-2004 04:35 PM

hello! :)

Foxfire 08-31-2004 04:36 PM

Hiya! :)

PaulSimonon 08-31-2004 04:40 PM

Hi!......

Foxfire 08-31-2004 04:41 PM

There need to be more companies that mass produce 7-string basses. :'(

e p 08-31-2004 04:43 PM

Or more people who are satisfied with a mass produced 4.

Foxfire 08-31-2004 04:45 PM

Lol. :p Hey, I'm happy with the 7 I got, but it'd be nice to be able to go to a store and be able to try different ones out. And I'm happy with the mass produced 4s that exist, as well as the mass produced 5s and 6s. :p

Crapdragoon 08-31-2004 04:53 PM

nisakss 08-31-2004 05:15 PM

Why would anybody want to be a mod???

Foxfire 08-31-2004 05:15 PM

For e-respect, duh. :p

The mods we've got are awesome though.

nisakss 08-31-2004 05:17 PM

^^^YYeah I know, but I guess being a mod takes the fun away, you could not go around talking about anything once you're one, and besides it must be a real pain in the arrss to deal with certain people in here.

ScorpSath 08-31-2004 05:37 PM
Why would anybody want to be a mod???
Well you get alot of respect but it's a hard job, and crapdragoon you wont be a mod until you've been here for longer.

ScorpSath 08-31-2004 05:39 PM
^^^YYeah I know, but I guess being a mod takes the fun away, you could not go around talking about anything once you're one, and besides it must be a real pain in the arrss to deal with certain people in here.
Radiobass81 08-31-2004 05:53 PM

If I became a mod, I would probably be to cautious (sp?) on the forums and wouldn;t have as much fun...

Left Shoe 08-31-2004 05:56 PM

i would be the careless mod who had alot of fun , and made fun of people i didnt like

Crapdragoon 08-31-2004 05:59 PM

i dont want to be mod for dam.n respect, i want to just get rid of all theses stupid threads the mods arnt ever around to see , as you can see winter, and thumbs are on different times then most of us, so they come on at night morning , and part of the day, the rest of the time its hell , and lr peeks in once in a while... i just want to keep it clean.

xxxwookie 08-31-2004 06:01 PM

Man I'm tired and fed up! I just got in from work ( midnight) having worked since 9 AM. I stupidly told my boss I could look after the pub fine while he goes away for a couple of days. Advantage of course is that I quit on Friday! :D

In other news, my custom job is coming along. The paint job as it stands is a black bass with a bass clef stencilled on. I've got to touch up the clef by hand using an artists brush, but that wont be hard. I'm getting some nitrocellulose lacquer in a couple of days to finish the paint job, then all that I need to do is install the pickups and I'm done! :D :thumb: I'll probably find out that there's something horribly wrong at the end of all this but it was worth it! :)

Crapdragoon 08-31-2004 06:09 PM

I got "the best of john coltrane" from a friend today.... all i can say is NICE.
Jazz is so soothing. :)
