I think Angels and Airwaves are releasing from Geffen. I'm not sure about plus 44. I have a high feeling that Tom is going to write somewhat similar to boxcarracer. I just can't wait until one of them comes out.

Yeah, AVA is most likely commin' out from Geffen. I do to also hope that it's going to be a Boxcar type album. Hopefully it'll be something that Tom will show off his talent with.

Oh yeah, by the way, I'm back again. This time for good :) Finally got a new computer so my opinions once again will kinda, sorta, not really matter

well, i think he's ahead of plus-44 cuz he said he was only 2 songs away from being done...so maybe b4 plus-44 which is coming out summer of 06 ,but i dont know...

I'm really hoping AVA sounds similar to BCR. If it doesn't it still better be good.

But whatever it is, i'm sure it's going to be pretty awesome from what Tom says about it.

For sure.

From all the hype that it has suddenly been getting and the fact that it's on Geffen, I'd guess it's coming out sooner rather than later. Probably late '05 or early '06.

Yeah 16 songs, but how many are going to be on the record? I expect Tom to release his record first.

the average record would have about between 8-14 songs.... i dunno if your in a band but to wright practice and perfect 16 songs takes a long time

The average would be more like 10-14. Bands can have more than that though, there's no limit. And he has probably had a bunch of these songs written before he had even started the band because there was quite a while between Blink and the hiatus.

Are you kidding me? John Frusciante recorded 6 albums within a single year, and each song was recorded in hi-fi. Guess how long it took him to arrange and record each album? 4, 3, or even 2 days.

Trust me, that's blink 182's problem-- there's zero spontaneity with their work and total overproduction. It's just very processed, forced, not... free or spontaneous or innovative at any point in time.

Sure, they can write songs that some people enjoy, they can "mature" musically (which doesn't mean a whole lot, I'm not sure why that word is emphasized so often), but they can not innovate. Come out with something interesting, innovative, etc.

But dude, if you consider the amount of songs a factor on an album, or the length of the songs, or whatever, then your concept/attitude regarding music is distorted.

Or make such pre-conceived, naive assumptions, as far as why they broke up or who they are as people and whatever. Here's what I think: Each fan has a preconceived idea/assumption of what type of people blink are, how they respond to eachother, what their personal lives are like, etc.

But let me tell you this, that a magazine/internet article or 20 second interview clip is NOT an insight on their lives.

But also, quit overdramatizing this. If you cared about music, you'd realize how much there is to be heard and what a small deterrance this is to music as a whole.

So... do I dislike the band? No, I dont listen to them, but I dont dislike them. But their fans just take everything at face value and are so one-dimensional with their take on music, I dont know.

im saying to wright 16 songs practice them and perfect them and record it takes long time usually ..... whoever this john guy congrats to him... but pluss 44 has been around like 6 months about and yer i think it woulda been tuff with atticus fsas going on to have time to do all this .....

what gave you that impression serious all i said was wrighting performing recording 16 songs for a album takes a while.... how that got anything to do wiht what your saying up there......

guys guys guys guess what my good friend brad found tom delonges sisters myspace..... we no for sure its her as she only has 94 friends and it has a picture of her family and there tom in the background.... her name is keri just like tom sisters name is....she from southern cali and all her friends are from there and all comment her asking what she doin that night and so on.....

That exact thing "Tom's sister" posted is the exact thing that I got in an e-mail from Geffen not even 3 days ago. Anyone could find a picture of the Delonge family and could be from California. For all I know it could be an old man trying to get with all the blink fan boys.
