the Keanu Reeves one, or the Blonde?
Keanu Reeves.

As you can see from the picture of me shamelessly whoring myself by the pool, I'm not blonde.

yeah, you're right, there was something distinctively non-blonde about that picture

i have no idea what im going to be for halloween.

maybe a drunk guy. i wont even have to dress up.

Jacaranda 10-10-2005 09:52 PM

I think I'm going to straighten my hair, dye it black, and were all black spookey cloths and mowhawk my hair, and paint my face white and be a cool goth.

Lots of unneeded "and's"

Leper 10-10-2005 10:09 PM

Sounds like the perfect costume, easy and fun. :thumb:

thickasabrick 10-10-2005 10:13 PM

Me and my friends are dressing up like monks, and going from house to house explaining to people that we understand we are too old to trick-or-treat...but we will exchange them wisdom for candy. Then we'll just tell them whatever wisdom comes to mind.

Illmatic 10-10-2005 10:24 PM
So... Clapton... yeah

I'll have to think about Halloween. My sister wants me to be Jim Morrison for some Halloween party, I guess I'd have to be Joan Morrisson or something
Any woman who can pull off Jim Morrison can't be attractive :p

Sounds like a fun idea that is all but doomed to failure. :p

blue3 10-10-2005 11:21 PM

Hah yeah.

My friends wants to dress up as KISS or GN'R. But I'll probably just dress up as an 80's person.. It's much easier than being one of the KISS members.

Leper 10-10-2005 11:33 PM

I dare you to dress up as Dee Snider. Good god, you'd probably have to kick your own *** if you did that. At least you'd scare some people though.

magicbus 10-10-2005 11:43 PM

So I'm going on a psychedelic music hunt right now.

I've downloaded/am in the process of downloading:

Art - Supernatural Fairy Tales
Arzachel - s/t
13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds Of
An Electric Sitar compilation

I'm also getting a few Ravi Shankar albums.

Leper 10-10-2005 11:54 PM

Oh ya, speaking of halloween costumes, my cousin dressed up as Axl Rose last year. It was quite the feat actually because he's got a big afro (one of few white guys you'll ever see with an afro this big) so he got it straightened, and it actually looked pretty good. Hilarious, but good.

blue3 10-11-2005 12:20 AM

That would take a long time to straighten. And no, I don't want to dress up as Dee Snider.. One of my friends looks like Axl, she's a girl..

ed3r 10-11-2005 12:30 AM

yeah its true that classic rock is coming back IMO.
ive been listening to alot of acdc and led zeppelin, eric clapton etc.
my parents had some friends over the other night, and all of them said their kids had been listening to music that they used to listen to.
it was funny i put on TNT by ACDC and my mum starts singing the words... im like wtf!
yeah but my mum was a rocker in her day

Ya, I think he said it took him around 3 hours. Haha, burn to Axl, or your friend..I can't decide who that's more offensive to..

Congradulations, you are the 500th (approx.) noob to reply to the first post of this thread. Hehe, sorry bud, I had to say it, welcome to mx though. But more importantly, welcome to the CR thread.

I know eh. He's a bit of a GnR fanatic..

blue3 10-11-2005 01:10 AM

GNR rock.

Haha. Why didn't he just be Slash? It'd take less than 3 hours.

Leper 10-11-2005 01:13 AM
GNR rock.

Maybe he wouldn't have felt as accomplished if he handn't put any time into it...that's the best I can come up with.

blue3 10-11-2005 01:20 AM

Yeah okay. I'm listening to 'Watching The Wheels' by John Lennon.. Awesome song.

Leper 10-11-2005 01:28 AM

I don't believe I've ever heard it. I really need to get more of Lennon's solo stuff.

blue3 10-11-2005 01:31 AM

His solo stuff are great.. I'll send the song, if you want.

Leper 10-11-2005 01:40 AM

sure, how long would it take?

blue3 10-11-2005 02:10 AM

To load one song? About a minute. What's your e-mail?

Jacaranda 10-11-2005 06:43 AM

So I just gave Freak Out! another listen, and I really don't like it. It doesn't really capture my attention and the lyrics are sorta stupid (I know they are supposed to) I think I'm going to stick to intrumentals when it comes to Frank Zappa.

NP: Jeff Beck - Cause We've Ended As Lovers

ATM 10-11-2005 08:17 AM

My favorite Zappa album is definantly Joe's Garage.

Ulysses 10-11-2005 08:19 AM

Hot Rats is a favourite of mine but then again he released over 60 records and I haven't heard all of them.

magicbus 10-11-2005 08:52 AM

Waka/Jawaka remains my favorite, but Hot Rats and The Grand Wazoo are both cool too.

superjoe 10-11-2005 11:32 AM

Anyone into Robin Trower?

PinkFreud 10-11-2005 11:45 AM

he's cool. i havent listened to him in a long time. i think he bored me pretty quickly.

Leper 10-11-2005 12:20 PM

Who's Robin Trower?

NP: Tom Petty- Mary Jane's Last Dance
NP: Tom Petty- Mary Jane's Last Dance
I like that song. Have you seen the video?

ATM 10-11-2005 12:26 PM

Robin Trower is cool but his music get's old pretty quickly.

Leper 10-11-2005 12:27 PM

Nah, I've only seen one Tom Petty video ever, "Don't Come Around Here No More." That one's pretty cool, so I would imagine MJLD is too.

Glitterati 10-11-2005 12:28 PM
Was that the video that was banned? Or was that You Don't Know How It Feels?
Mary Jane's Last Dance is the one with teh necrophilia, so I think that was the banned one.
