Rofflemao! Cars are for pussies, I take my unicycle to work.

Seafroggys 04-17-2006 01:36 AM

The Oregonian (Oregon's biggest newspaper) is made from 100% recycled paper, so there's some ownage.

Is it NY times sized? No, but it still a major newspaper

Coma Divine 04-17-2006 01:37 AM

My school newspaper sucks

Josiah 04-17-2006 01:39 AM

Nothing named "The Oregonian" could possibly be taken seriouslly...

Coma Divine 04-17-2006 01:40 AM

Seafroggys do you live in Oregon? Tell me if you ever see Agalloch

Cocaberry 04-17-2006 01:45 AM

Goddamn my left hand wrist and fingers are weak. How long did it take you guys to get your left wrist and fingers up to speed?

Josiah 04-17-2006 01:47 AM

Takes awhile.. just work a lotta left hand lead rudiments and stuff on the pad.

Cocaberry 04-17-2006 01:49 AM

With dedicated practice will it take less than a year or no?

Josiah 04-17-2006 01:55 AM

no... it's never ending. Your hands naturally develop unevenly, it's a constent battle. very very few people have truly even hands, and that's only from massive amounts of practice and playing.
Even then, it really doesn't matter. the hands have disticnt and unique rolls, there's nothing wrong with that. So long as thigns aren't too out of whack between them it's generally all good.

However you keep thinking about time periods and how long thigns take you'll drive yourself nuts. Drums take a LONG time, decades.. time will fly when you just start enjoying progress as progress.
