I did too. That means that all those old biker guys and metal guys have incorrect tattoos. :p

Did anybody else see the Bonnaroo DVD? A lot of those bands are really cool. The Burning Spear, Primus, and moe. songs were really awesome.
You mean Burning Spear (Reggae artist)? Soundas interesting. :)

Yea the reggae group. It was one of the coolest songs I've ever seen.

Glitterati 06-20-2005 08:05 PM
Indeed, fantastic movie...except for Donny dieing :upset:.

"It's good knowing he's out there, The Dude. Taking it easy for all us sinners."
I love when they take his ashes out to the sea, and the wind throws it all on John Goodman. That movie is soooo good.

I heard somewhere that Tom Petty has a new album/tour coming out. Should be good, I like Tom Petty.

So today my Dad got tickets to a private Gov't Mule concert at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There were about 140 people there and it was mostly unplugged. He got a couple of picks ill try to post and he got a free copy of I think "The Deep End" autographed by the band and got his ticket autographed by Warren Haynes. Unfortunately, there wasn't an abundance of tickets so I couldn't go. I just though that was pretty cool.

You could also try out a Vox, those are really good. Hendrix used them a lot

robo2448 06-20-2005 08:12 PM

White Heat I just noticed your avatar- nice :thumb:

I've never seen that episode. I had the Who in the Simpsons as my avatar for a while.

White_heat 06-20-2005 08:14 PM

I don't think there was an episode with them, not sure. I just happened to find that pic at google

magicbus 06-20-2005 08:16 PM

Speaking of them, Gov't Mule also play a song on the dvd (haven't watched it yet), The Dead play a song (I didn't like it very much though), and The Los Lonely Boys play one of the coolest modern blues songs I've ever heard.

ATM, the Burning Spear song is called Postman.

And, Robert Randolph does a song. Basically, this dvd rules.

Haha, those are the 2 I was keeping in mind.

Cry Baby and Vox. I'll have to pick when I get there.

I have a Cry Baby Classic. You might want to check that out.

I've got an Ibanez autowah.

Wait....VU were on The Simpsons? Those are, like, my two favorites things ever!

White_heat 06-20-2005 08:23 PM

Yeah I've got a Cry Baby classic too, and its really good, but with all that money you have, a Vox Clyde McCoy wah would be a better choice, it's a class above the normal wah really.

White_heat 06-20-2005 09:21 PM

Ringo Starr Is On The Daily Show Right Now!!!!!!

MalcolmYoungRock 06-20-2005 09:52 PM

I three have a Cry Baby classic and I'm quite satisfied with it, although the signal gets kind of weak when it's low on batteries.

....an autowah...come on!

I've got an Original Crybaby. It's pretty damn old and a little beat up, but it still works perfectly. When I first got it (used of course) it barely worked at all, so I took it back to the store and the guy who was fixing it said it didn't look like it hadn't been used for decades.

I didn't want an autowah, but my dad got it for me for my birthday and I didn't have the heart to tell him he got the wrong thing :/

I've had that happen too, so I can sympathize. I never have the heart to tell people when they buy me crappy gifts. At least he knew you liked guitar. My parents just give me money because "I don't have any interests anymore" apparently.

Well I told my parents I wanted a wah wah pedal, and my dad didn't realize he bought an autowah. It's still cool, though.

Illmatic 06-20-2005 10:33 PM

What's an autowah?

/confused

I almost bought an autowah because I couldn't find any normal wahs that I could afford. Thank god for used effects.

Did I ever tell you guys that I was so inspired the first time I saw The Big Lebowski that the next day I went to the principal of our school, and asked to start a bowling club. A few days later it was started, and about twenty people showed up for the first few weeks...it was awesome. Of course we all lost interest after a while.

Yah, I caught that. He was pretty entertaining.

Badmoon 06-20-2005 10:35 PM

Cool, my school actually has a bowling team. The movie owns; awesome cast and everything.

Seafroggys 06-20-2005 10:59 PM
