I was wearing it at college once and this girl went: "who's Pink Floyd, is he dead?"
Quite good then i imagine?
Very. At least the B series are. I've only used those models. I like them too much to try an A series, even if I saw one...

"Well I've always had a deep respect,
And I mean that most sincerely.
The band is just fantastic,
that is really what I think.
Oh by the way, which one's Pink?"

PaulSimonon 11-28-2004 12:17 PM

I own a B4 fretless, and played a fretted for an hour yesterday. The fretted sounds really cool.

moxshyfter 11-28-2004 12:17 PM

Why is Pink Floyd so good? I think they're pretty boring to be honest...

neal_672 11-28-2004 12:17 PM

 did somebody actually say that to you?!

EDIT: To Wintermute

bassist-bmxer 11-28-2004 12:17 PM

hey neal 672, didnt you want a fretless 6er? cause you could get that cort defretted, that would be sweet.

neal_672 11-28-2004 12:18 PM
Why is Pink Floyd so good? I think they're pretty boring to be honest...
Blasphemy!

neal_672 11-28-2004 12:19 PM
hey neal 672, didnt you want a fretless 6er? cause you could get that cort defretted, that would be sweet.
Yeah i did, but the problem is that i don't know anywhere i could get one defretted, add the fact that i wouldn't feel comfortable doing it myself... Also would it be possible to defret a Curbow? They're not wood are they?

Wintermute 11-28-2004 12:20 PM
 did somebody actually say that to you?!
It's one of the lyrics from Have A Cigar, a song about the music industry. Primus and Foo Fighters featured Brian May have both covered it. Though Primus changed that line to "Who the hell's this guy they call Bob C. Cock?"

"Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar.
You're gonna go far,
You're gonna fly high,
You're never gonna die,
You're gonna make it if you try;
They're gonna love you.
Well I've always had a deep respect,
And I mean that most sincerely.
The band is just fantastic,
that is really what I think.
Oh by the way, which one's Pink?
And did we tell you the name of the game, boy,
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.

We're just knocked out.
We heard about the sell out.
You gotta get an album out.
You owe it to the people.
We're so happy we can hardly count.
Everybody else is just green,
Have you seen the chart?
It's a helluva start,
It could be made into a monster
If we all pull together as a team.
And did we tell you the name of the game, boy,
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.

PaulSimonon 11-28-2004 12:20 PM
Why is Pink Floyd so good? I think they're pretty boring to be honest...
Thier music is really deep, meaning wise, though some people dont like it, thier a bit of an aquired taste.

There is absolutely nothing like getting stoned and just laying down in a dark room listening to Pink Floyd. NOTHING.

Wintermute 11-28-2004 12:24 PM

It's from 'Wish You Were Here'
