im watching cb4 for like the 5th time
its not that funny

skankinBassist 03-13-2005 08:38 AM

me too. It's always on Comedy Central and that's the only channel i watch. So i honestly think i hold the record for seeing "Dogma", "40 Days and 40 Nights", "Death to Smoochy", and "CB4" the most times.

skankinBassist 03-13-2005 12:51 PM

Phew! Just finished reading the entire NN2S archive. I am satisfied, and yet disappointed. I could have been much more productive selling laxative at a cheese convention or something.

My punk band! But the PA was bust when we were recording, so we couldnt do vocals.

But crit it punxors!

skankinBassist 03-13-2005 01:30 PM

The intro was rather generic. I don't like your bassist. It was pretty good if you're all n00bs to playing in a band. You should also perfect your soundcheck, the bass was way too loud and the drums were way to quiet.

Arucard 03-13-2005 01:53 PM

Thank you. Our bassist was having a very bad day, and we recorded it in our drummers bedroom so you know...

I think its more pop-punk than punk anyway.

El_Shiznit 03-13-2005 02:09 PM

Only problem is that the bass and drums should be turned down. Otherwise good song. I'd listen to it.

Arucard 03-13-2005 02:43 PM

Wooh. Its very Offspring influenced, and i think it sounds alot of like something of 'Ixnay On The Hombre,' but also quite alot like Black Sails and Art Of Drowning era AFI.

When i write, i aim for a kinda Pop-Punk/Melodic Hardcore type feel.

Thanks for the feedback.

Dustin, what is "Anger is a gift" from? My friend had it as his username somewhere, but I didn't know it was from something, I thought he just made it up

It's a quote from a Rage Against The Machine song.

'Freedom' from their S/T.

Brain Toad 03-13-2005 03:29 PM

I haven't listened to RATM for awhile, I may download some stuff.

El_Shiznit 03-13-2005 03:30 PM

The song kind of stops, then you hear Zach whisper "Anger is a gift". A few more seconds of nothing, then right back into the rock. Great stuff. Love that band.

Forest_Fire 03-13-2005 03:32 PM

I have a take-home math test due tomorrow. :upset:

anyone here taken algebra for college students? I really need help

Brain Toad 03-13-2005 03:33 PM

Yeah, I remember now. Aaaaaaaaawesome album.

Isn't it Zack?

El_Shiznit 03-13-2005 03:35 PM

I took the SATs yesterday. Gay.

I'm not even going to a college that looks at it. So I didn't really think too hard on some of them. The hardest part was writing that sentence in cursive. I haven't written in cursive since 5th grade and I forgot what all the letters looked like. It took me well over 10 minutes. I didn't have enough time to finish it the first time, so I had to cut one of the math sections short so that I could have more time to finish the cursive.

Battle Of Los Angeles
Renegades (Although that one might be skippy. Had it since when it first came out)

It is Zack.

IFlogMyMolly16 03-13-2005 03:37 PM

I took Algebra for middle schoolers. What do you need help with?

Forest_Fire 03-13-2005 03:38 PM

I have to take them sometime this year I think. Why did you have to write in cursive?

El_Shiznit 03-13-2005 03:39 PM
I have to take them sometime this year I think. Why did you have to write in cursive?
You have to write this thing that says "I agree to the terms...." The person who administered the test told me it had to be in cursive, but I'm not sure if that is true.

Same here about the college not looking at them. I'm going to a JC than transferring, so no SATs required, but I may still take them.
