Very nice.:thumb: What setup are you using?
Epiphone SG --> Line 6 Spider 212 --> Shure SM57 --> Behringer Mixer --> HP Media Center comp with/ Steinburg Cubase. It needs a little work here and there, but thanks :thumb:
any more news on the new 'Tallica album? i'm revising, so i can't really search around for info.
Just that it's being worked on. I haven't heard any new information about it. All I know is that they're taking a week off to play in South Africa. |

Don't worry about the chorus, I know it needs work. Thanks guys :thumb:
Cool. Few Constructive Critisism (sp?) points;

Timing needs to be work on the first time the verse in introduced
You need a smoother transition between Chorus -> Verse, maybe using more tracks so the distortion fades away rather than cutting off
The harmony in the chorus is pretty sexy but save it from the 2nd chorus only.
Apart from that it was pretty darn good. And as you said, it needs touching up a little.:thumb: |
Don't worry you didn't. It's not that the tab is wrong, it sounds the same, but it's not how they play it. I've watched many One videos and the tabs are never like that.

most vocalist are far to find especially for metal...most of them are off doing christian music or something like that. you will find very few singers on MX
that tour in Africa is going to be so gay with Metallica and those fag bands...I don't understand why they can't take Godsmack with them just to beef it up some  |
Im a singer...
I disagree with this whole down picking > alt. picking. Sure it means you have more talent, but does it sound good? I'll down pick something if that's how it was meant to be played, but if something sounds better alt. picked I'll play it that way. Yes, if Hetfield did more alt. picking he would be a lot faster I think if he wanted to be.
NP: Battery
Yea 123 Alt picking is just as much a skill as down picking. any good guitarist will be good at both. If you want to go super fast you alt pick. If you want it to be flippin heavy you down pick. anyone ever just tried up picking? And BLS please stop calling bands "Fag bands" just cause you don't care for their style of music. Godsmack puts on one hell of a show though. |

I saw them when they toured with Metallica and that was one of the greatest shows I've been to...in my top 5 for sure. |
And how is Disposable Heroes possible to downpick?
Not the entire song, the intro, it's only a few seconds, but it's fast. Before this: E 0 000 0 000 000 0 000 0 000 000 That's all gallop picking. Most of the song is. Blackened is probably harder to Downpick. Double post ack! sorry. |

When i do ill be one happy chappy :chug: |
When i do ill be one happy chappy :chug:
Yeah they rock. I saw them twice, once at Ozzfest in like 99 and once in 2002 at the Quest in Minneapolis. Admitably, that was the best concert I've ever been to. |
I'm not into Machine Head...I saw 'em at Ozzfest in 1999 as well but it wasn't my thing.
top 5 concerts: Metallica 1998 Black Label Society 2005 Chevelle 2004 Metallica and Godsmack 2004 Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera and Alice in Chains 2000 |
There are no good concerts in Hong Kong :(. Stratovarius next week though :). Couldn't afford Dreamtheatre. Nothing else good has come. I went to Linkin Park, paid US100$ for it and it sucked bigtime. I would murder children and hump pigs to go to a Metallica concert or an Iron Maiden concert.

The best concerts i've seen were Black Label Society 05
And System Of A Down 2001 |

That Megadeth concert would of been awesome. I've always wanted to see Alice In Chains in concert, now it's too late. |
I can't remember what the tour was called but it was Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera and Alice in Chains all in one tour co-head lining. Amazing preformance

It was either Thrash of the Titans or Clash of the Titans. |
Clash Of The Titans was Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and Alice In Chains. Pantera weren't on that tour.
Thrash Of The Titans was a benefit show for Testament's Chuck Billy. Testament played (feat. guest appearences from Alex Skolnick and Steve Souza), Exodus played (with Paul Baloff) and Vio-lence, Death Angel and Forbidden re-united for it. |
I think it was Clash of the Titans. It was a really amazing tour but if you replaced Alice in Chains or just added Metallica that would have been the hotest tour ever. just adding Metallica with Megadeth would have been insane but then you got Pantera, Slayer and then maybe Alice in Chains....I would have payed $300 for that especially if they got to play there normal tour sets and play around with each other.
|
What if there is a metallica/megadeth tour. haha, that would be pretty intense for all fans.

Yeah, all the 40 year old Megadeth fans would have a bltchfest with all of the 14 year old Metallica fans. True chaos. |

When I saw Metallica, I was amazed at the amounts of old people were there. Long-haired gray haired people. But there was a good amount of young people as well. |
Wait I thought that was Thrash Against Cancer?
Nah... I think Thrash Against Cancer was last year, wasn't it? Thrash Of The Titans was held in 2002. |
Nah... I think Thrash Against Cancer was last year, wasn't it?

That's true, cause megadeth has no teenage fans. |

There is video footage of Thrash Of The Titans floating around on Soulseek. It really must be seen. I still have some videos of it lying around on the other PC. Just put Thrash Of The Titans into your wishlist, and eventually you will get some results. It takes a while, but it's worth it. |

123 lol Mums started getting pissed over Megadeth's lyrics in the early day lol |
I listen to Megadeth but I have no idea what Mustaine is saying half the time
