SWC has a bad line up this year

SWC line up is rad this year, there's a good mix of things and not everything is gonna sound the same and there will be a draw of all kinds of different people.

It looks better than Sound And Fury in my humble opinion.

Which means if you disagree you're ****ing dumb.

I'd goto SWC simply to see the RunAmucks.

Broken Needle are playing SWC. My boys.

Parallax is playing, that's reason enough to go in my opinion

Agreed.

Sound and Fury has a lot of big bands but that's just it... the majority of those bands come through SoCal on a regular basis. Its like seeing one big SOS show. Sink With Cali will be a lot more fun, its on the beach, SABERTOOTH ZOMBIE AND 108 ARE PLAYING, and shows with a DIY feel are always 100,000x better.

SaF is the only fest I'd be able to go to anyways, football practice starts Aug 7th

Maybe Turmoil and All Else Failed too. They're a little more straight forward but I'd think if you like Coalesce stuff you'd like that.

If it's in Ventura you already have an hour ride from LA ahead of you, and Scott already lives probably 30 to 40 minutes outside of LA.

I'm staying in Ventura, I'm just either taking a bus or train from LAX to Ventura.

I live about 2 hours away from Ventura with traffic. I'm staying in a motel myself.

Just warning you... transportation from LA to Ventura might be pricy so look into it asap.

If I was gonna go out to Cali I'd be going to SWC.

I wouldn't miss SWC for the world. I was going to pull a Shane and quit my job to get the time off because I'm leaving for Chicago for a week the day after SWC ends, but my work was actually really cool about it.

Hahahah, I'd do it all over again, one of the most memorable weekends of my life.
