I guess I'll spoil his secret for everyone that doesn't know, ac/dc 4 lyfe is JPJ's account he made when he and Livewired were banned for spamming up the Led Zeppelin thread.

I'm Into Classic rock again a lot more, since I bought Wish you were here

I listened to that yesterday, great album.

I need breakfast, but I'm too lazy to get it :(

Walrus Gumboot 10-08-2005 12:43 PM
Yea, I did. I switched from Achilles Last Stand to Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again to get pumped up.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I pwned all the math sections. It's just too bad I can't read or write.
I switched to Tommy
I guess the more things change the more they stay the same

I'm trying to get into the 700's for the verbal and 600's for the math. The essay was rediculously terrible. I don't think there is a topic I could care less about

Lunch 10-08-2005 12:46 PM

Yea, my essay was garbage too. The reading sections are so boring too, the passages make me want to kill myself.

The grammar part makes me want to kill myself, page after page of bad English, not to mention mistakes that I've never heard anyone make in the first place, not even my Japanese friend who has a sticker on her bag that says "Surfrider is crazy to surfing"

Not to mention I kept on getting random *** songs in my head, like "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria" and "Jingle Bells"

/rant

EDIT: I also managed to get a Beatles reference in the essay :D

Did anyone else have to endure the SATs this morning?
I got to take them before they got ridiculously long \m/

I got 1380, I think...it was between 1300 and 1400, I know that much.

NP: Cheap Trick - Surrender (god this song rocks)

Oh.....that sucks that it's about to get banned.

*doesn't edit post in the problem thread*

/ :p

I'm just kidding I'll edit it if jpj wants me to. If it's not too late......

Lunch 10-08-2005 01:09 PM

It doesn't really matter, it's just funny you thought he was a new user.

Hahaha...How Do you Solve a Problem Like Maria. That was a cool song. Actually, all I remember is that line.

I'm gonna learn some songs though, I've printed off the lyrics and chord charts to like seven different songs.

np: Mr. Tambourine Man...I think this song has some of the greatest lyrics Dylan ever wrote.

Glitterati 10-08-2005 01:15 PM
np: Mr. Tambourine Man...I think this song has some of the greatest lyrics Dylan ever wrote.
I agree. It seems like some of the best lyrics Dylan comes up with are when he's completely rambling.

Lunch 10-08-2005 01:18 PM

I couldn't get Spirit's "When I Touch You" out of my head during the test. Especially those great parts with the screams.
I couldn't get Spirit's "When I Touch You" out of my head during the test. Especially those great parts with the screams.
I hate it when that happens, we had a test at school and I couldn't stop singing 'Pinball Wizard' in my head.

magicbus 10-08-2005 01:38 PM

I got a 28 on the ACTs. I know nothing about the SATs.

That always happens to me, too.

BigTrav415 10-08-2005 02:55 PM

I guess I'm lucky, I usually get Pink Floyd stuck in my head :D Usually like a certain part of Echoes, it'll keep repeating over and over in my head... like right now... oh god no, now I've got "Good Day, Sunshine" playing in my brain :(

Broken Arrow 10-08-2005 03:20 PM

Last year, every time I played hockey I had "Brainwashed" by the Kinks stuck in my head.

The Kinks are good.

Cool avatar^

Yes, the Kinks are very good.

I just sneaked out of my house and got back in without anyone knowing I went anywhere. I had to get my bud I left on a tree. After I smoke this last little bit of bud I shall quit.....It's getting to be not worth it anymore.....just too much trouble. :(

magicbus 10-08-2005 03:36 PM

:D The Last Waltz

I just turned this on again.

OMG my mom and my brother almost saw that post above and the pipe and bud i have in my pocket almost fell out.

I'm still a little rattled by that. Night MX.....

He almost got caught.

MBS 10-08-2005 03:54 PM

oic.

NP: Farmhouse - Phish

I like this song, it's got really good solos that are somewhat reminescent of the solo in Let It Be.

Quitting weed?....hopefully you don't plan on quitting forever. If you quit for a few months, and let your parents know that you've quit...they'll totally start trusting you and all that crap again. It's weird, my parent's haven't trusted me about anything for about three years now....basically every night I turn into a refugee because I'm doing something illegal, I have to sneak into my own house at night several times a week.

My dad borrowed my car today, which means he knows exactly what I was doing last night. I hate when that happens, he should warn me when he takes my car because he always seems to borrow it after a night of heavy hotboxing...then he always has to comment on it.

I'm listening to Welcome to the Machine right now....holy fuck this song is amazing. I never really listen to Pink Floyd on my computer anymore except when I'm in the Pink Floyd thread and it reminds me of a song/album I want to hear.

edit- Urgh!! Instead of sugar, I stuck Gatorade powder (just add water) to my tea and it was so good...and I noticed my dad made a pot of coffee and didn't drink it all, so I tried putting Gatorade powder in that and it's just disgusting.

Haha, what a helpful observation, I'll keep that in mind

I had a similar experience to Schyma, my parents were at a wedding so I thought I'd get a few puffs in, and as soon as I did they started comming up the driveway. I had just enough time to put it out, hide my stuff, get some listerine, turn off the light and make it look like I was sleeping (aahh, my heard hurts from the SAT's etc.)

They knew.

I can't get away with anything with my parents. They know everything. EVERYTHING. I smoked it out side, and I don't think the smell could have gotten inside, but they know. They kept on comming in and asking me questions and turning on my lights and grilling me, never once mentioning the weed, and then they left

If they ever mentioned it being weed I could always say that I found it in the garage, and that they are more guilty than I :D

Lunch 10-08-2005 04:32 PM

I hate when parents know but they won't do anything or tell you.

Walrus Gumboot 10-08-2005 05:18 PM

Bah. My room reeks. I feel like such an ***

I just discovered "Look AT Me" By John Lennon, I really like it

EDIT: I wish I saw this

If that's true, you have the upper hand

jpj 10-08-2005 06:07 PM

I got the Cream Reunion DVD today. I watched most of the first disc, and it's pretty good. It kinda bothers me that everyone in the first row is sitting still as a stone, meh.

Oh. Whoever it was in Rolling Kansas and Wayne's World II? My mom sat next to him in a bar once, I think he lives around here

jpj 10-08-2005 06:39 PM

Yea, Rip had an appearance in Wayne's World 2.

BigTrav415 10-08-2005 06:41 PM

So, anyone gonna upload anything anytime? Cool if so. I might upload Meddle soon, since I'm sure someone here doesn't have it.

Walrus Gumboot 10-08-2005 07:19 PM

This thread is so slow tonight. Myabe I would mix it up if I said something completely outrageous like:

The Beatles couldn't sing to save their lives

Or:

John paul jones couldn't play the bass

Glitterati 10-08-2005 07:23 PM

Or if I said I recently re-discovered my love for We Are The Champions and have been playing it over and over lately.
