today: Big Black - Atomizer Shellac - 1000 Hurts Shellac - At Action Park
The majority of post-punk music fans have too much wax in their ears from all those loud records and shirts they're always listening to and wearing. I know it's not my fault because I had some nurse squirt a bunch of water in my ears back in college to get the wax out. It was kind of like an enema, except I didn't crap all over her face. Well okay I DID, but that's just my way of saying "hello" to a woman. But that's nothing: you should see how I say "goodbye"! I'll give you a hint: It gives new meaning to the phrase "I just poured 45 gallons of semen all over your head." |
lol best gimmick ever.

It's really him you guys

T.I. - King
I don't think I'll ever get tired of this album. |
so apparently steve albini once produced an album by Bush. and then on the radio i heard that single of theirs "Comedown" and it has a very Albini-like intro. its like Jesus Lizard's "Then Comes Dudley" with the pounding drums and creepy bassline, and the tones/rhythms are all very similar. is that the album he produced?

The Beatles - Abbey Road, Hey Jude and Rubber Soul
The Beatles were weirdos. |
Currently digging a two LP thing of Gershwin piano work that I bought for a dollar fifty. Very enjoyable.
