bleep_bloop 01-26-2007 12:43 AM

very

JonM 01-26-2007 12:44 AM

I'm thinking I should. I feel like I download a shit ton of things. What do you think, is an average of 1-4 albums a day, no movies, no anything else, a lot, or do people with torrent memberships download way way way way more than that?

bleep_bloop 01-26-2007 12:46 AM

i think 1-4 is more than the average person. but i wouldnt know i never really leave the house.

Kayetan 01-26-2007 12:46 AM

That kind of seems like a lot overall, but the file themselves aren't too big. idk.

bleep_bloop 01-26-2007 12:47 AM

run, run to canada!

Robert Crumb 01-26-2007 12:51 AM

I'd imagine 1-4 a day is enough to perk someone's radar. I'd suppose it depends on where you get them from. Some ways are more likely to attract less attention maybe. I dunno.

Zappa 01-26-2007 12:52 AM

I used to average about 50 albums a month, which I guess comes out to between 1-4 albums a day. But when you put it in daily terms like that it sounds pretty crazy. I don't download nearly that much anymore.

Anxious 01-26-2007 01:26 AM

If you guys are really that scared run your **** through tor (if you don't mind the slow speeds) and for the **** of it get http://phoenixlabs.org/?page_id=5 even though that probably won't do much. Plus I dont think you guys here download much stuff that are on RIAA labels.

pikester 01-26-2007 02:32 AM

Sup thread.

Electronic Wolf 01-26-2007 08:12 AM

I like to stay away from albums that have been released by members of the RIAA.

THINK! THINK ABOUT IT!

Kyle 01-26-2007 09:40 AM

I guess I download between 1-4 albums a day.

Sometimes I download less, but sometimes I go on crazy downloading binges so it evens out.

Gummo 01-26-2007 11:49 AM

I dont think i ever download stuff.

Boilermaker 01-26-2007 01:18 PM

I download about one album a day.

I try to listen to it a couple of times before I get a new one to let it sink in and decide whether I like it or not, instead of just going on first responce to not liking it and never listening to it again.

Eliminator 01-26-2007 01:19 PM

i usually end up deleting most of the stuff i download

Electronic Wolf 01-26-2007 01:55 PM

I used to download a lot of music. Like sometimes I would come across albums that had been on my computer for like months that had never been listened to before. So I stopped for a while and went through everything and deleted what I didn't want.

Glitterati 01-26-2007 02:00 PM

I did that a while ago because my computer was being slower than a fusty walrus. So I deleted some stuff I don't listen to and now it's running swiftly again.

Electronic Wolf 01-26-2007 04:37 PM

But now I'm back to my old ways. I was scrolling through the artists on my iPod (OMG, iPods suck!) and like I didn't know most of the dudes on there.

Electrocution 01-26-2007 04:41 PM

there's a reason that i put this little gem in my info on slsk:

The Great Decay 01-26-2007 04:54 PM

I wonder if that's actually legit. I've seen it a couple of times.

Boilermaker 01-26-2007 04:55 PM

Smoooth.

Electrocution 01-26-2007 05:20 PM

i just looked it up online and apparently no such law actually exists. looooooool.
