i went to the movies with this chick I know last saturday night, and we were talking about something I can't remember exactly what, but she brought up jalapenos but she pronounced the j as it's normally pronounced in english and i was like um, it's actually not pronounced like that, it's like a german j and she was like oh and i was like dumb bitch and i punched her in the face

Nuh uh, German j is the palatal approximant; Spanish j is the voiceless velar fricative gtfo kikebag

In Iberian Spanish j is /x/
