I would suggest Godlovesugly. That's what I heard first and from then on I was hooked.

i jsut saw ghostface, rakim, and brother ali yesterday and gave ghostface and rakim daps. it was sweet except theodore unit kinda messed up ghostface's set. rakim killed it tho he freestyled with his son too

Hell yeah, I love that album.

"Respiration" is my favorite from it.

I liked Kweli's album a lot at first, he's getting better at rapping with each successive album, but most of the beats on it fell flat after a few listens. Hostile Gospel pt. 1 is amazing.

I think senility is catching up with KRS-One. Pretty soon he'll be rapping about how the weatherman doesn't speak clearly enough and how the hats youth wear these days offend him.

Is it just me or has this been the worst year in hip hop for a very long time? Feel free to produce lists of albums which prove otherwise, but I'm struggling to think of many which have been anything other than 'good'.
