good apollo is the greatest album of all time :(
no, its not even the best coheed album.

and the new guys might not look the part but i dont think they would be sessioning for coheed and cambria if they werent experts on their instruments.

Why has this thread title gone all stupid and boring?

DJ Ducksauce 08-11-2006 12:25 PM
ATTN: Justin

What about it?
Why has this thread title gone all stupid and boring?
Thread titles got all screwed up, mods changed the titles back to simple because they didnt know the old ones.

Claudio's scream sound horrible live. I dont have a problem with the new guys. They are probably just temporary until they find a replacement for the studio.

Nevermind now, I was having trouble with Megaupload but fixed it myself.

oic alright

chumpradio 08-12-2006 07:23 AM

To be honest, I think the new guys did a good job. It's obvious they are both very talented musicians, and the ending of that Everything Evil video higher up on this page was great.
I can't wait to see them in a few weeks. Shame they will only be playing for 30-45 minutes I think.
Does anybody know what the setlist will be for a set that short? I'm guessing Welcome Home, The Suffering and Ten Speed will have to be there seeing as they're the singles, then maybe Blood Red Summer and AFHA. But what else would they play?

lunchforthesky 08-12-2006 07:25 AM

In keeping secrets
and either devil in jersey city or everyhting evil
i would guess

cobert 08-12-2006 12:28 PM

I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt play all of the singles. AFHA and Welcome Home are definites though.

Storm In A Teacup 08-12-2006 02:26 PM

Coheed and Cambria doesn't have the best setlist. :-\

Storm In A Teacup 08-13-2006 05:14 PM

I just noticed that there's an acoustic guitar in the background after the solo on Ten Speed. Awesome.

Triangle 08-13-2006 05:35 PM

Woo, I'm hyped up for seeing them next week. Hopefully they'll play Delirium Trigger. They didn't play it the last time I saw them. :(

Storm In A Teacup 08-13-2006 06:50 PM

They like to mix the set list up; too bad it's rare that the set list flows well.

With that said though I'd still kill five people in order to see them live. I have yet to. :(

Yeah, it really doesn't.

I missed them last time they came by here. I'll hopefully catch them next tour.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-13-2006 07:02 PM

Haha I've seen them. They were amazing. I wouldn't want to see them live now though, you're not seeing the whole band. If I hadn't seen them before I'd go, but now I wouldn't.

Storm In A Teacup 08-13-2006 08:31 PM

As long as Claudio is still in Coheed (and he will always be) then I frankly don't care about the others. I still love the band (Claudio).

TheBigMachine 08-14-2006 01:44 AM

But if the music around Claudio changes, wont he?

masada 08-14-2006 01:45 AM

Uh oh, change.

TheBigMachine 08-14-2006 01:46 AM

We are strongly anti-change in the case of Coheed.

Storm In A Teacup 08-14-2006 09:56 AM

What do you mean 'anti-change'? That's just stupid to say because every one of their albums is completely different from the other.

Fish 08-15-2006 12:11 PM

i saw a guy that looked like claudio at warped tour so, i yelled claudio! but he didnt look :(

Storm In A Teacup 08-15-2006 03:12 PM

I'd have run and jumped on him and not given him the chance to escape me.

Fish 08-15-2006 03:34 PM

but i dont like touching men :(

masada 08-15-2006 04:10 PM

ian swings that way

Storm In A Teacup 08-15-2006 04:16 PM

Only for Claudio.

jk, not even for him

Liquid Force 08-15-2006 06:07 PM

I haven't really been following this thread..

But I saw Coheed and Cambria 2 summers ago after they released IKSOSE: 3, and I would have to say it was one of the best live performances I have been at.

Storm In A Teacup 08-15-2006 07:50 PM

The "Live at the Starland Ballroom CD/DVD" is a classic for sure. It was recorded around that time. :thumb:

Fish 08-16-2006 11:52 AM

i want to hear them play light and the glass live. Not the acoustic version though.

Storm In A Teacup 08-16-2006 07:08 PM

I need to re-write every Coheed review I've done. Either I disagree with what I said then, or it's just a ****ty review.
