Kingofdudes 11-05-2004 08:08 PM

I would love to go to a concert, but no one comes even close to my area :(.

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 08:12 PM

I'm waiting for Tool to finish their album. Then, I will spend all my money on tickets.

Kingofdudes 11-05-2004 08:14 PM

I hope Tool comes to Mississippi. Speaking of them, I need to order Opiate off of Amazon.

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 08:15 PM

I need $300 so I can buy Salival.

Kingofdudes 11-05-2004 08:18 PM

Or keep an eye out at Yard Sales for stupid people selling it for cheap.

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 08:20 PM

Yeah. Some book stores and music stores do that. It's one of those things though that cannot be found online for cheap because anyone who knows anything about Tool will sell it for a minimum of $75. Sometimes that without the DVD. I have trouble deciding if I'd burn everything then resell it for more of just keep it.

/me counts days till graduation from college

/me stops after 100

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 09:08 PM

/Me already lives between Albany, NYC and Binghamton so has no worries about concerts not coming nearby.

Per Ardua Ad Astra 11-05-2004 09:09 PM

I'm going into New York tomorrow, i don't suppose anyone here knows of any good CD shops in the city?

Kingofdudes 11-05-2004 09:11 PM

The closest Concert area to me is New Orleans, and that is a 2 hour drive :(.

It sucks, the Children of Bodom tour is coming, but it is 18+ only so I cant see that :(

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 09:15 PM

Concerts come here, since I am near Phoenix, but I have no car, and can't usually go because of transportation issues :(

FF, you are in Ithaca, right?

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 09:34 PM

Yeah. I am indeed. Cornell and IC.

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 09:40 PM

Awesome, it's a cool place, I wish I could've afforded Cornell, but my friend is there.

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 09:46 PM

Jeremy got mad at me once because I mentioned that he went there. I was assuming he did because he had pictures on his website from Ithaca and Cornell.

Doesn't he? I though he had that in his profile or something? Either way it's a really pretty campus, I loved that gorge, and driving around there and such. Too bad they paid for me to come and visit, but not attend :(

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 09:49 PM

Oh well. It is a nice place but the weather.... takes some getting used to. The gorges are crazy. Maybe that's how they came up with Ithaca is Gorges.....

How many towns have slogans?

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 09:55 PM

Haha, I didn't know that...that's pretty neat. Weather here takes getting used to. I moved from Colorado to Arizona...it's not cold enough and there's no snow :(

Those gorges were awesome though, very pretty area, reminded me of the mountains...

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 09:58 PM

The mountains.....except with no height.

I have a friend going to some college with Arizona in the name (Az State or UofA) on a golf scholarship. That means they give him free stuff. Arizona = hot girls. Ithaca = Hippies.

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 10:07 PM

I won't deny it, Az has some hot girls here. I go to ASU, on a national merit scholarship, they give me money, which is sort of like free stuff, but better :p

Ithaca sounds like Boulder than, which is where I might have otherwise gone...Boulder is a major hippie twon haha. You aren't in college though right?

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 10:20 PM

Nope. Only a junior in high school.

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 10:25 PM

Haha, Junior year sucks, enjoy that :thumb:

In other news..I am doing 12 hours of community service in about an hour and a half, and I am tired as fuck :(

You don't say? Perhaps I should start thinking about actually moving down there :naughty:

Oh and I finally got a new avatar...YAY! :D

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 10:28 PM

bahahahaha. I actually did the hard part of junior year last year. I'm a year ahead in most classes so that means 2 art classes and no language. Optional math. Oh yes. I laugh at my peers. Get ahead to get out early. NY sucks though. We have the Regents.

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 10:28 PM

Avatars are for suckers, and mine is better :p

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 10:30 PM

Haha, I was ahead, but I ended up just taking 6 APs :(

Dancin' Man 11-05-2004 10:33 PM

Yeah, most kids who get ahead do it and get good grades. I get the same grades as the people who are right on course. I sort of defeat the purpose of moving kids ahead.

Permanent Solution 11-05-2004 10:34 PM

Ah, that totally confused me...all I know was I almost got junior standing here :p
