new agalloch track sounds aight, not into them but it was p good, cheesy at parts but whatev

this is really good so far. the production tone on all of the instruments is really awkward for agalloch though, they don't really seem to do well with thin guitars w/ minimal effects and drums this loud.

This wasn't very good, it sounds like Agalloch went all fan-service with this to make up for changing their sound recently.

Production of the drums sounds a bit weird, but not bad. Can't fucking wait til 23 November. I hope I can find a place to preorder outside of the US. Shipping costs from the US tend to be ridiculously expensive sometimes.

EDIT: I knew they were gonna go for a more raw production on this one, but I didn't expect it to be this different from the last two albums.

The song was decent, but I didn't find it to be anything worth freaking out over. Agreed about the production on the drums being weird, they seem really high in the mix.

I tried pre-ordering the limited edition but when I went to pay with paypal it said the whole thing cost 157 Euros instead of the 34 it said during checkout. Too bad, their loss.

Btw, that song seems to get better with repeated listens. Drums are actually not bad at all. I like the blast beat section.

Yeah, I just sent them a mail about it. I don't know if the product is supposed to be that expensive and that the price the site first tells you it is is wrong or if perhaps the price it gives after the order placement is incorrect. Either way, I'm not paying that much money for a fucking t-shirt and a CD.
