Talos 04-15-2006 04:21 PM

Trev, what are Cabrias like?

I like the look of the Goth Cabria, black on black. Yumm :)

Trev 04-15-2006 04:28 PM

I definately recommend it, it sounds really really nice. Just my opinion, but I like the Goth Cabria purple laquer finish better than the black/black.

Edit - The black on black actually looks really nice. Better than I expected.

Talos 04-15-2006 04:30 PM

Cool thanks for that man. Now im stuck :(

Peace DNA in Nightshade whatever thingy for £400 or Premier Goth Kit in Black for £550

Trev 04-15-2006 04:31 PM

For £400, I would actually go for the Peace. Thats a great price for a maple kit. Looks nice, too.

Talos 04-15-2006 04:32 PM

Yeah its very cheap for what it is, 9ply Canadian Maple with a hand lacquered finish.

Talos 04-15-2006 04:37 PM

Can anyone recommend me some cool Prog Metal like Dream Theater, im really getting into them now. I listened to the whole Images and Words album today and its really good.

I thought I didnt like them because it starts off quite lightly but gets really good as it goes through the song.

Futuro 04-15-2006 04:44 PM

Symphony X is my favorite.

Better composing then Dream theater IMHO.

Talos 04-15-2006 04:47 PM

You were right Images and Words is awesome lol.

Trev 04-15-2006 04:48 PM

DEFINATELY Symphony X.

An 80-year-old man went to his doctor for his annual check-up. The doctor asks him how he's feeling. The 80-year-old says, "I've never felt better. I now have a 20 year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. What do you think about that?"

The doctor considers his question for a minute and then begins. "I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid trophy hunter and never misses a season. One day, when he was going out hunting, he was in a bit of a hurry and accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun. When he got to the creek, he saw a prime beaver sitting beside the stream of water. He raised his cane and went 'bang, bang'. Suddenly, two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead. What do you think of that?"

The 80-year-old said, "I'd say somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver."

The doctor replied, "My point exactly."

my first day of work went great. it's slot easier/funner than i thought it would be. and today it was half the people they normally have, doing the maximum work that the company gets in a single day. usually they finish at 10 or 11 and hang around until 3, but today we worked until 2:15. i got trained to most of the jobs there, i'm just really bad at throwing. but nobody's good at throwing for the first few months that they work there anyways.

DuckinFutch8 04-15-2006 08:06 PM

pizza place again, or what?

LittlePound 04-15-2006 08:10 PM

my day of work sucked. My register came up 40 bucks short and i can't figure out what happened to it. I guess two twenties got stuck together or something bcuz i didn't take it but now they're pretty mad at me. I was sharing a register with someone else last night too and it came up 40 bucks short last night as well so things aren't looking to good for me now....i dunno what happened to it all.

Win A Rabbit 04-15-2006 08:24 PM
pizza place again, or what?
though sbarro's has been contacting me, asking if i can work eevn just one day a week. and one of my friends who i worked with there now works at panago, which also contacted me a few days ago asking if i'd like to work there. i've made it in the pizza business.

i was thinking about going back to sbarro's, but for now i'm good with this job.

Janeway 04-15-2006 08:33 PM

I'm hungry.
There's a burger sitting on the kitchen table.
I want it.
I don't know who's it is.

Dilemma Dilemma =/
