So Deafheaven (the band that FatalEnergy was whining about getting signed, that his old drummer's in) is on Deathwish apparently.
Here's their demo. http://www.mediafire.com/?jwrv9188yaz6v71 |
Nice, getting that right now. Have you seen the artwork? Looks like a pop album.
|
Downloading right now.

Fitting for a pop band |
It's good music though. I really liked it.
|
i'm gonna need to know how many bullet belts they're wearing before i listen
|
at least theyre doing something different. i mean, why would a label sign a band like yours that plays the same music 500 other bands have played
WAR TRENCHES BLOOD GENERIC RIFFING BLAST BEATS |
They could do to change their sound away from WITTR, I hope they grow out of that sound, 'cause they have cool ideas that, if expounded upon, would definitely set them apart from the pack.

WAR TRENCHES BLOOD GENERIC RIFFING BLAST BEATS
Yeah, because sounding like WITTR at this point is soooooo different from anything else out there. |
Their sound differs a lot from WITTR at a lot of points, but they could do to expound on those parts, like I said before. There's a lot of very apparent post hardcore influence.

It makes sense. They all look like a bunch of hardcore kids. Actually, I wish them all the luck in the world. I just don't like their music. |

Are they cute?
Actually, I wish them all the luck in the world. I just don't like their music.
Because it's too good for you. :) |
I like the Deafheaven demo. It's pretty good.
Can't compare it to Volkslieder, though. That's ctually gotten quite a few plays by me. |
i dont think i listened to volkslieder yet
|

|

|
No they don't.
|

just bought the Deafheaven demo. it's fucking great. I wouldn't call it black metal at all though... but fucking awesome nonetheless.
|
Deafheaven?
Seriously? |
Tyler - are you Tyler? i.e. cocaine?
|
Omg, apparently Lustre released a new full length this year. It's called A Glimpse of Glory.
Getting that right now. |

oh. hi. post crabcore gifs!!!

Tyler is too elite for anything that might be considered "hipster bm" by anyone at some point.

What? If you're referring to my earlier post, I'm more concerned with how absolutely stupid their name is. Deafheaven!? |
The music is pretty good though. You should get that album, you'll probably like it.
|
In that case, sorry. I take it back. :p I actually agree that Deafheaven is among the dumbest, most misplaced bandnames ever here.
So does everyone hate Lustre here? One would expect with so much Paysage love that there should at least be some dudes here that like Lustre. |
