Ad Absurdum 09-25-2005 02:35 PM

I think I'm going to go crazy - I've read A Streetcar Named Desire twice already tonight and I'm going to have to go another two time (taking notes on characters). I've got some strange studying ways were I do things in too much detail; it always catches up on me in the end :(

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-25-2005 02:36 PM

If anyone uses myspace, or knows anything about .htmling stuff, can you tell me how to make a link on myspace?

some Slipknot or SOAD... although both of these bands have evolved past Nu-Metal.

NP-slipknot- danger, keep away.
I agree. The new Slipknot album is quite good and can't be considered nu metal.

Both are still Nu-Metal just a more experimental original form (unless compared to Korn, Deftones, Coald Chamber, and Spineshank because they started it).

Vol. III is an amazing album, especially when compared to their previous material. It turned me into a Slipknot fan.

Huber 09-25-2005 02:47 PM

Danger, Keep Away is very underrated.

I like material off of all their albums, I just don't like any of their albums in their entirity.

NP: Linkin Park - Crawling

God I love this bassline, it's simple, but soo good.
Hybrid Theory was original and kind of decent, but Meteora was basically an attempt at capturing the same sound which makes it unoriginal.

I can't really get interested in Slipknot anymore except for the MFKR stuff.

Yeah, it's really quite mournful and haunting...

EXCELLENT! Night of the living dead is on tonight.

Always worth watching

Yeah, every album had a weak point. Their self titled had Tattered and Torn, Iowa had Skin Ticket, and Volume 3 had Prelude 3.0

Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat was perfect though. :thumb:

The original or the remake?
The original or the remake?
If it's always worth watching I would assume the original.

Of course it's the original. What do you take me for?

superpeer 09-25-2005 03:27 PM

Then that's a pretty good film. Over the top old horror is cool.

Thor 09-25-2005 03:32 PM

Does anyone in here like Dawn of the Dead? I hope you do. Both the original and remake were great.

Yeah, anything with Zombies or pirates in it is cool to me.

Anyone remember the part in Dawn of the Dead (remake) where the one zombie gets a chipped baseball bat stuck through his head? That part was fucking amazing!

On another note, why do intelligent people turn into morons when they write text messages?
The best is when drunk people use predictive text and forget to select the write word.

"Goin home soon, say hello to Chris" turns into "Imho good room, say helmo to Brig?"

I'm a consumer whore...

Tonight I ordered.

Dream theater- live at the marquee
Gorerotted- a new dawn for the dead
BLAZE-as live as it gets

I will have no money left now...
You're supposed to be saving to come over to Australia, fool!
But it was Dream theater, LIVE DAMMIT!

I also ordered my COF and Cathedral tickets...

That's nearly £60 I've spent tonight...

We actually watched that as well, but cause we went out lookig for Goerdies later our night > yours. I started going up to random people in the bar and asking if they were Geordies :upset: but none were, We acutally met a chick who promised us Geordies, but disappeared :upset:

NP: Some Goldfrapp song

Sounds like you were ridiculously drunk again, Al.

Lord Abortion 09-25-2005 05:54 PM

I don't have to even look for Geordies,

They're just there...

My Mum's one, for a start.
And alot of my teachers are, and I'm nearly one...

jpj 09-25-2005 05:55 PM

What the fuck is a Geordie?

crazy Euro-trash...

superpeer 09-25-2005 05:55 PM

I think it's a name for people coming from a certain place in Britain, but I forget where.

Newcastle maybe? /guess

Bartender 09-25-2005 05:56 PM

A true Geordie is someone who was born within spitting distance of the Tyne. Mostly it's used less strictly than that, though.

EDIT: The Tyne being the river that runs through the middle of Newcastle.

I'm about 30 miles from being one...
