Rasputin - Are Wardaemonic worth checking out? They are playing at a show I'm going to and dunno if I should bother with them beforehand. They're from WA so I figure you may know them.


Also, new is Diocletian is great. Fukking relentless band.

they aren't horrible like some other perth bm bands, but they aren't amazing. i've only heard their 06 album (through the dank pale gravelands) and i only listened to it abotu 1.5 times before forgetting about it. if it's not a hassle to catch them play it might be all right, but if you can't make it for the openers you probably won't be missing much

Nazxul/Astriaal. Mostly likely Nazxul will play last, and Astriaal's latest album is a bit of a let down.

Unfortunately I was too young to see them play in '04 when Morte was still on vocals, and the guitarist was still alive, but this will have to do.

Openers Spire and Moon both do a decent gig as well.

That's an awesome line up. Have seen Diocletian live twice and they ruled on both occasions. Would been keen on Blasphemophagher and Black Witchery too.
