Which Built to Spill album should I get? I'm seeing the Meat Puppets open for them in a few weeks, but I've never listened to them before.

Rory have you listened to that album yet?
No, sorry, my internet thought it was really funny to disconnect every 15 minutes or so yesterday. I'll try to download it again.

i'd go with There's Nothing Wrong With Love and Perfect From Now On, and you might as well check out You In Reverse since they'll probably play a lot off of that. I'm seeing them with the Meat Puppets on saturday.

today i've been digging Opal's Early Recordings, and i just downloaded Happy Nightmare Baby so i'm giving that a listen.

Perfect From Now On and There's Nothing Wrong With Love are both really good, and it's hard to not find likable songs on at least one of those albums.

StreetlightRock 02-25-2008 07:59 PM

RRaaveee Music!

Psytrance is the f'ucking best, bands like Juno Reactor, Hallucinogen, Shpongle and Astral Projection.

shpongle is sick!

StreetlightRock 02-25-2008 08:19 PM

That they are. It's nuts, I downloaded this trance mix from Paul Oakenfold and I've just spent the last week digging up awesome trance artists because of it.

Moooreee Rave music!

The Crystal Method, Infected Mushroom, Fluke and Underworld are bending my mind right now.

And The Pine. But they are as far from rave as it gets.

cbmartinez 02-26-2008 11:59 AM

I can give you some trance and various techno stuff, like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, if you like trance, you'd love Tiesto he's the best.

Zmev 02-26-2008 01:52 PM

Tiesto is so ****ing pompous
