Anxious 06-22-2005 08:53 PM

I dont even have a computer in my room, mines where everyone in my family can see it.

I just looked in the mirror and my tonsil is bleeding.

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 09:00 PM
I never leave my room, and my parents love me.
That was me for awhile. Now I leave more often.

Rise Me Up 06-22-2005 09:01 PM

I never leave the computer room.

TAND 06-22-2005 09:12 PM

My computer is where everyone gets a good side profile of me. They tell me to use it less, and sit infront of the TV. WTF is with that?

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 09:26 PM

My avatar looks better now, with the transparency.

Anxious 06-22-2005 09:28 PM

I have the grey backround, its not completely transparent.

Rise Me Up 06-22-2005 09:35 PM

My user title owns.

I hate that skin, too bright.

obese_breasts 06-22-2005 10:00 PM

White is the best.

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:02 PM

I used to use grey, but I turned on the new one and its the perfect blend and bright and dark, plus it's funny when people use colours to pass the filter and they use white when this has black text.

AIRIC 06-22-2005 10:04 PM

I use Bluegreen.

Rise Me Up 06-22-2005 10:04 PM

I use white.

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:15 PM

I got a new Johnny Cash shirt today, at Hot Topic (omg no punX). It's pretty awesome. It has him sitting on a stool with a cigarette, looking lonesome and deep in thought, under it is the words "Johnny Cash" "The Man in Black" then I saw on the back it has the lyrics to the song
"But I'll carry off
a little darkness on my back
Till things're brighter
I'm the man in black"
My favourite Cash song.

I got one on sale at hot topic the other day and on the front it has a picture of him and says Johnny Cash live at folsom prison 1969. and it says the same
thing on the back in stencil letters.
I also got a BR shirt,Bauhaus shirt, and AFI vinyl on sale. T-shirts were only $8.99.

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:30 PM

I had a gift card, both times my cousin has given me Hot Topic gift cards I got Johnny Cash shirts, except last time the gift card really payed for the Family Guy buttons and incense, and a return paid for the shirt. This time she gave me Family Guy incense and a gift card that bought the shirt.

I originally went because my dad wanted a DKM/Social D/and Flogging Molly sticker for his truck

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:32 PM

Haha, my dad likes Flogging Molly too, don't think he'd put a sticker on his truck though.

My dad likes most of my music, aside from Sex Pistols,Exploited,Discharge, etc. etc. He's cool about that kind of stuff.

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:35 PM

My dad doesn't like any music with screaming and is always making fun of it. He likes a lot of my music, because I got a lot from him, like classic rock and ****.

My mom likes my ska.

My mom had to pick me up from the Streetlight show the other day, she said she was sitting out there waiting and she liked it. My dad on the other hand likes country.

I'm out night forums.

Rise Me Up 06-22-2005 10:38 PM

My dad LOVES ska. He likes some screaming stuff ex:AAA,or The Unseen,or Avail.
He likes a lot of blues and some bluegrass, which fits in with none of his other music.

AK47 06-22-2005 10:40 PM

If my parents listened to the music I liked I'd self mutilate myself. But hey that's just me.

cheeser_1 06-22-2005 10:41 PM
My mom likes my ska.
oh yeah, well your mom likes sk... oh. nevermind.

my dad likes early 90s alternative stuff (red hot chili peppers) and some 80s and earlier stuff (bowie, talking heads, etc). he's got okay taste. he doesn't know most of the stuff i like, seeing as i don't see him much of ever.

Well,I always have a ride to shows,so that's a plus.

AK47 06-22-2005 10:45 PM

hmmm. I guess that's acceptable.

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:49 PM

My dad's favourite bands are Lynard Skynyrd and Charlite Daniel's Band, he is a definite redneck so only a little of my music appeals to him.

Rise Me Up 06-22-2005 10:50 PM

I've saw Lynrd Skynrd. But who in the south hasn't?

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:51 PM

I saw Charlie Daniels Band last year at the fair, **** fine show he put on. The man can play a mean fiddle.

Rise Me Up 06-22-2005 10:53 PM

I saw him when I was like 6-7. I don't really remeber it,except it was at rock the smokies,a redneck festival.

Brain Toad 06-22-2005 10:55 PM
I saw him when I was like 6-7. I don't really remeber it,except it was at rock the smokies,a redneck festival.
I saw the Beach Boys at that age, changed my life.

Rise Me Up 06-22-2005 10:56 PM

The Beach boys rock.

Brain Toad 06-23-2005 12:27 AM

Man, it sucks that its so hard for me to go to shows. For those who have given me s'hit about never going to a punk show. This is how I would get to one at the main venue around here, in SF, The Pound.

First, I get a ride from my town Vallejo to the Pleasant Hill BART station, which is 30 minutes about. Or I could take the bus from Benicia to Pleasant Hill, but those stop running at 7 pm, and I would need to get back you know. Once I get to BART I follow these directions I got from a Trip Planner: Click Here

And that is one way. I have to do all that to get back, plus get a ride back home. It's such a pain, you now see why I don't do it.

I may try however, to see the LCB/Clit 45 show. Maybe I can convince some friends to come with and it won't be as hard, or I could get a ride at least to the BART station, driving to SF is insane, especially on a Friday.

honkybrewster 06-23-2005 12:34 AM

You poor bastard. All I had to do was. Get older.

Brain Toad 06-23-2005 12:41 AM

And even getting a car and money doesn't help, because driving to SF is pure hell.

honkybrewster 06-23-2005 12:43 AM

I'd be afraid of driving in the state of California at all. I'm a total ***** about driving.

Brain Toad 06-23-2005 12:45 AM

Driving in CA is quite scary, I'm just a passenger most times and I fear for my life.

Maybe I should move in with Sid for massive amounts of buttsex and transportation around SF going to shows.

CombatRock 06-23-2005 12:47 AM

We were talking about camping and what not earlier this week. well i just got back from my camping trip and this is how it went. first night in are cabin. we find roaches. and it kinda smells bad. well then next day we wake up and it smells like somthing died! theres flies everywhere and buzzars above the house. there is a dead animal inside the house. so we call the cabin owners to go check it out. they come and act like they dont smell anything, my dad gets pissed and talks talking shit like a white trash person. so we reclocate cabins meanings i have to load all the stuff while me sisters sit on there ***. we go to the cabin, its way away from the river. and its on the highway. so i couldnt sleep cos of the trucks going by and the horrible COUCH i had to sleep on. and to top it off, i hate swimming and suck at it. and i got sunburned gained 5 pounds.

i hate camping.

honkybrewster 06-23-2005 01:07 AM

Weird, I thought people lost weight when they went camping.

obese_breasts 06-23-2005 01:08 AM

I have only been camping a couple times, none of them were that bad, I am truely sorry for you.
