The first thing - whatever. If I was treated the way they were I'd probably feel the same way. First experience in a new town and you're treated ****ty, you're not going to be feeling too gung ho about the place. Not everyone has been born and raised there Niko.

The second thing - well ok fine, I agree with you. But once again that has nothing to do with EA. Don't incriminate them for something some random dude on a board said.

Knuckleheadz 06-24-2006 07:02 PM

Dude, Orangevale is Sacramento, a town that Eaten Alive have played before. The fact that they're complaining about getting their sound adjusted that no one noticed except them is fucking unreal.

BuddyBigsby 06-24-2006 07:04 PM

I think it had more to do with being threatened and having two of their members punched by random dudes.

Knuckleheadz 06-24-2006 07:10 PM

Violence happens. That's hardcore. I've never seen a fight at a Sacramento hardcore show, however.

You need to stop dwelling on the fucking threat. It wasn't a fucking threat, it was telling him to be considerate. He tells every touring band to be careful with his mic.

BuddyBigsby 06-24-2006 07:16 PM

hahahaha

I work at a venue and I understand protecting equipment, but there's a big difference between "Hey guys, please be careful with the mic because I don't have the money for new equipment" and "You break my mic I'll break your face"

Don't get me wrong, I'm a pretty short-tempered dude so I could understand him saying that. On the same token though, you can't blame the receiver of said comment for being a little pissed about it.

Knuckleheadz 06-24-2006 07:17 PM

I can't be sure, I might have just created this memory in my head, but I'm PRETTY sure that Foose was being careless with the mic.

BuddyBigsby 06-24-2006 07:43 PM

I've seen him several times with EA and a couple times with his old band and I've never seen him be careless with equipment.
You put your state to shame.
I'd rather put my state to shame for not liking a local band rather than put my state to shame for being a homodressing homo like you LOL.

It was just a statement, until he actually strikes him he has nothing to be pissed about.

But I guess Eaten Alive is all about talk s'hit get s'hit talked on you.

BuddyBigsby 06-24-2006 08:50 PM

Shane, you're a completely backwards ass asshat when it comes to these kinds of issues.

However I feel somewhat pwnd for being a "homodressing homo"

faith and fiction 06-24-2006 08:52 PM

Hahaha, it'd be funnier if you knew the background.

Basically my friend wrote a song about a guy he doesn't like and it started off with "You homo dressing queer, no one cares, you have no hair"

Knuckleheadz 06-24-2006 09:03 PM

Pretty much, kids from Southern California need to man up.

For real, everyone except people from Southern California think Southern California is a joke.

faith and fiction 06-24-2006 11:24 PM

The fact that this show didn't hit Dallas makes me hate Matt Pike or whatever bigshot booked this.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-25-2006 01:03 PM

From what I understand the show here kiilled the Houston show.

chips88 06-25-2006 01:26 PM
From what I understand the show here kiilled the Houston show.
I assume you heard that from Zack..but yeah, probably the truth dude, I can't wait to start going to places like SA, Austin, and Dallas during college,

idk, Houston is cool, almost all the people are awesome, but not a lot of people, and too many kids not getting into it, or just general retards who think KLU are gods.

idk, its great to me personally, but yeah, I'm sure the SA show killed us.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-25-2006 01:28 PM

I didn't mean to sound like an a$$hole or anything, I'm just really excited about the show last night. It was powerful.
I didn't mean to sound like an a$$hole or anything, I'm just really excited about the show last night. It was powerful.
Oh nah, I didnt think that you were like shoving it in my face or anything, didnt take it the wrong way, its the truth, cause I mean, zack said you guys had like 400 people? We had not even 200, which I'm sure your numbers had something to do with JFAC, but still. And we had a bunch of drama, drunk people, some miscommunications, bands taking things the wrong way, but I still had loads of fun, it was one of the best shows for me personally. I admit that houston is kind of not the best in texas, but oh well.

BuddyBigsby 06-25-2006 02:59 PM

haha wait... job for a cowboy played the bane show?
