The vibraphone I want <33333

Heh my buddy and I played Wham! on steel drums for the staff concert. It was pretty amazing.

DJ Ducksauce 08-12-2006 12:15 AM

Wow, they make gold vibraphones wtf?

Not even Jazz masters are above a little bit of bling.

Or rather a rack of gold bars full of bling.

PDWAB 08-12-2006 12:19 AM

I don't think a golden vibraphone would last too long, seeing as you're pounding it with mallets all the time.

But when you're done you have a rack of golden boomerangs!

Haha wow.

Jon: So it seems.

Gold doesn't seem like it'd produce a good tone either.

masada 08-12-2006 12:26 AM

Rust produces the best tone.

Golden fiddles apparently sound increadible, and make good tools for blugens.

Hm, but you don't actually hit the fiddle itself. I see that since it probably resonates well.

You use it as the bludgen...

That futurama reference was so far beyond you.

I haven't seen too much Futurama.

A few episodes here and there. :(

DJ Ducksauce 08-12-2006 12:38 AM

K, I'm out. Geez, I'm tired, but I got an essay out of the way. :)

Night Jon, Joel, Bri, Nick, and whoever else may be on.

Night Justin.

I'm seeing Streetlight Manifesto tomorrow. I can't wait. :D

BridgeToSolace 08-12-2006 12:40 AM

I'm going on vacation for two weeks tomorrow.

I could wait forever!

Mute Print 08-12-2006 12:42 AM

Haha, where are you going?

I haven't been on vacation since I was like 10.

BridgeToSolace 08-12-2006 12:46 AM
Haha, where are you going?

New Hampshire. We've gone to the same cottage every year since I was born.

I bring my ps2, tv, and guitar and pretend I'm in my own house with airconditioning.

There's a bitching arcade up there, but since we go so often I've literally played every single game before. There are over 500 >_<

And we have a boat, which is actually kinda fun. Nothin' like listening to a break down and rocking up and down due to waves. Good times.

But that's the only good thing. Oooh and looking at the girls on the beach outside the front window.

masada 08-12-2006 12:46 AM

Vacations have never been fun for me.

BridgeToSolace 08-12-2006 12:47 AM
Vacations have never been fun for me.
Same with me. Although I've only ever been to the said NH place and disneyworld (when I was...10?)

Mute Print 08-12-2006 12:51 AM

Sounds kind of lame Jon. Could be worse though, I suppose.

Anyway, I'm off. Later guys.

masada 08-12-2006 12:53 AM
Same with me. Although I've only ever been to the said NH place and disneyworld (when I was...10?)
My vacations involve being stuck in a car for eight to twelve hours and then sitting at my sister's house for three days. And maybe buying a bunch of CDs. That's the only good part of it.

Never been anywhere remotely interesting.

BridgeToSolace 08-12-2006 12:54 AM

It is, but it will explain why this forum will suck for everyone for two weeks! HA!

Ah ****, school starts 5 days after I come back! ****ING ****

Sitting at home doing nothing all day, all the time, is underrated.

masada 08-12-2006 12:58 AM

Yeah that's what I'm saying.

But I actually did leave my house today.

BridgeToSolace 08-12-2006 01:04 AM

The only thing I really left my house for this summer was guitar lessons and band meetings.

Yet we just moved the drummer's set into my basement and I quit lessons.

So I'm back to nothin'! Yeah!

masada 08-12-2006 01:21 AM

Word.

I'm about to quit the band I'm in.
