Pics plz.

Bartender 11-27-2005 08:55 AM

I had a 10GB Creative one before my current one, and that was filled after a while. I stuck with it until it started to break down through age/use, and then when the time came to buy a new one, I wanted one that could hold everything. So I got myself my new (still Creative) one.

He's at uni, actually. Take my word for it.
I'm getting about 2 CDs for Christmas.

I'm proud of my meager collection, considering I have bought almost all of it myself, and that's with my car loan, food, university and trying to save also.

Of course, c. 140 is nothing compared to Bartender, who has thousands as we are led to believe.
I'm getting close to 200 now.

Lord Abortion 11-27-2005 09:13 AM

I'm getting CD's for Christmas...and probably a new MP3 style device, maybe an IPod equivalent. IPods are crappy.

Oh and a leather Jacket :sometal:

Broken Arrow 11-27-2005 09:17 AM

I only have 18 out of 20GB filled on mine.

Nearly done though.

Mr. Squiggles 11-27-2005 09:21 AM

I lost my MP3 player :upset:

Six Foot Revolver 11-27-2005 09:21 AM

On my 40 gb Zen I apparently have:

Total Space: 38133mb
Free Space: 19791mb

I really can't be bothered to do the Maths.

Lord Abortion 11-27-2005 09:32 AM

How much was it Jake?

I can't actually remember but it was a lot :upset:.

Lord Abortion 11-27-2005 09:52 AM

What do people reccomend for a say 10gb+ player that won't cost a huge amount? (£200+)

superpeer 11-27-2005 09:55 AM

I think I paid about that amount of money for my 40GB Creative Zen.

NP: Limbonic Art - Behind the Mask Obscure

Seriously impressive music.

I just checked and my 40gb one cost me £250 from Argos so you could probably find a similiar one for much cheaper.

Lord Abortion 11-27-2005 10:04 AM

Cheers, cool, I'll look on t'internet
Man, the Uk just got annhilated in Junior Eurovision song contest :(

Also, I have worryingly large gaps in my memory of last night :-/
I think I'll just stay hidden in my room.

Let this be a lesson kids; don't get wasted before you go out, and then attempt to get re-wasted.
Hehe, silly Al. I've gotten a bit wasted this weekend as well, solely due to lack of cannabis. :upset:

Went to the cinema twice, as well. Good weekend.

Shadows 11-27-2005 10:25 AM

I just discovered this band Skyfire. I'm partway into one song and I already know I love them.

Toaster 11-27-2005 10:27 AM

That's never happened to me, ever.

superpeer 11-27-2005 10:32 AM
That's never happened to me, ever.
Same. I usually take a while to get into music.

NP: The Prodigy - This baby's got a temper

Thanks, Peter. :p

Lord Abortion 11-27-2005 10:33 AM

Happened to me with Dream Theater...I was hooked within 3 bars of Pull me under...

Shadows 11-27-2005 10:44 AM

Maybe I don't quite love them yet, but they're definitely damn good. Melodic death/power metal from Sweden. They're like Dark Tranquility only heavier.

NP: The Prodigy - This baby's got a temper

Thanks, Peter. :p
Thank you too, for reminding me to listen to them again.
Prodigy has some serious beats

I will get some new cd's for X-mas, the only problem is, I can't decide what genre :(
I want a lot of extreme metal, but some prog rock/classic rock would be nice too, as well as classical musix.
Luckily classical music is very cheap compared to metal.

Neurotoxin 11-27-2005 10:55 AM

I had a Skyfire album a while back. I can't find it anymore though... :(

Shadows 11-27-2005 10:56 AM

I'm thoroughly enjoying this one. I think I may just have to buy it, I'm really impressed.

Neurotoxin 11-27-2005 10:58 AM

Which album is it?

Shadows 11-27-2005 10:59 AM

Spectral, their newest one. It averages 100% on MA.

On another note, I watched the entire top 10 Korn videos on Headbanger's Ball last night. Unusual, as I don't like Korn or the Headbanger's Ball.

Headbangers Ball was on last night ??
We tuned in to watch it and it was this puppet thing playing. After 15 minutes it was still that puppet thing so we stopped watching tv...

Ja, it was on at midnight, but all they showed was Korn videos.

I was amazed at how much Jon Davis has changed over the past decade. Even though I don't like them, theur old videos are fun to watch.

Lord Abortion 11-27-2005 11:06 AM

Is he still a big fatarse?

Shadows 11-27-2005 11:08 AM

He is now, but he wasn't back in the day. I couldn't even tell it was the same guy because he looked so different.

Bartender 11-27-2005 11:14 AM

I've not seen him recently. The image I have if I ever think of him is the Blind video.

Good song, incidentally. And I don't seem to have it here.

Shadows 11-27-2005 11:17 AM

He reminded me of Dani Filth with facial hair when I saw him last night, but in the Blind video (which was number 2, by the way) he almost looked like a teenager with dreads.

Bartender 11-27-2005 11:20 AM

He more or less was, I think.

The video's good, though a bit oversimplistic, but the song's great.

EDIT: a moment's research tells me that he was in fact about 23 at the time. Didn't look it.

Shadows 11-27-2005 11:24 AM

He looked much younger. I actually enjoyed watching the Clown video (#3) for some reason. Though it has been confirmed that Fieldy has looked like a fool their entire career.

the2stranger 11-27-2005 11:28 AM

ugh.. Korn.

I just realized I haven't done anything special this weekend:(

Lord Abortion 11-27-2005 11:29 AM

I like a few songs from Follow the leader...I have untouchables too, but it's a bit crap, really...

Six Foot Revolver 11-27-2005 11:30 AM

Untouchables is a terrible album but that is the only one I have heard.

There first album had some decent songs.
After that...ugh.
Friends of mine are fan of them, so I have to listen to Korn on a regular base.

it's so unfair, I have to listen to their music, but I never get to listen my music when I'm there
