I joined each band after they kicked out they're previous bassists.

Everything I write sounds exactly the same, my tone is always bad, etc, etc.

I'd probably be better off to just quit, but I don't feel like it.

I've been there, it sucks you start to think why bother. I stopped for 2 months then randomly picked up my bass again. I fell in love all over again. Now I can't get my hands off of it.

I like playing my ovation but everything I write sounds the same.

I don't enjoy playing my fretted or fretless anymore...

well i just walked from one side of La Jolla to the other. and then back. and drank a Monster energy drink. and ate candy. so i'm hyped up and it's 1:28am....

Monster Drinks are awesome, they taste good and are large. :)

the orange ones are good. the green suck. never had the blue though.

the thing that sucks is that i bought it while i was in La Jolla, and that's the rich beach town of SD. so everything is double priced. that and a regular butterfinger cost me $5!

la jolla is a nice place to walk. i remember once i was in downtown SD walking at 1 am. not to fun haha.

Same as the little stores around sydney harbour, the price pretty much doubles.

I've only ever had 1 because I've only seen them in a shop one time. But I really liked it, it might have been an orange one too.

well certain areas are cool, like hillcrest and the gaslamp district (where it's still at least a little bit populated at night). but other parts of downtown are just sketchy as hell. but it's still safer than most big cities. i always walk around late at night and i've never been hassled by "thugs" or anything.

yeah hillcrest is a nice area of town, real artsy, liberal. the downtown shopping areas at night are have some pretty crazy transient/homeless/crackheads that are mostly amusing, but can be a bit frightening.

yeah the worst is normal heights. i've only walked there at night twice, and both times were with about 3 or 4 friends. if i was alone while walking there i'd be really freaked out. really trashy in the residential parts of normal heights. it feels like LA.

I really enjoyed La Jolla and Del Mar when I was in San Diego for a while. Didn't have the usual 'oh no is someone going to stab me for my jacket' Cali vibe to it.

Great beaches too, but being from Alaska any sand is great. :lol:
