So this kid in my speech class today was giving his speech, and he says
yB[o]y']i've never been banned at all. i tried. i'm just that guy in the backround everyone ignores. it's like in the battle between good and evil, right when the fate of the universe is decided...i drop a nuke and kill everybody, than go off and watch south park.
On a TV you just nuked?

Unlikely.

Thor the Impaler 06-28-2006 07:31 PM

You're crazy. TVs are some tough cookies.

The_Mop 06-28-2006 07:39 PM

When exposed to the absolutely incomparable (aside from the sun) energy that's emmited by a nuclear bomb, TV's very quickly become less tough cookies and more vapour.

I dunno if you caught my last post about it or not, lots of pages i don't feel like reading to see..

The Black Fist 06-28-2006 11:05 PM

yashnaheen- I remember you saying something to that end but my mind escapes me what did you say. also I know enough about computers to know that I have no idea what's wrong with it and am prly going to call Mr. Techie in the morning.

Thor the Impaler 06-28-2006 11:06 PM

You guys have rain? Its frickin hot as hell out here.

Yashnaheen 06-28-2006 11:10 PM

ah. I recall that. Well, like I say, I have no idea- It won't start up past the WindowsXP loading screen, the screen will just go blank and it'll sit there for eternity. It still reads the hard drive and everything and it's all still there, so I don't know what it would be.

Yashnaheen 06-28-2006 11:16 PM

Thats always fun. You have an ATI video card, don't you..

Regardless, Start it up in safe mode, begin to roll back drivers to the ones supplied with your PC.

Safe mode doesn't work either. That was the first thing I tried.

I've got a nvidia video card. I tried to find my dos boot disk but couldn't.

Yashnaheen 06-28-2006 11:17 PM

ofck.

Boot from windows XP CD, and use the repair option at this point.

Daniel K 06-29-2006 12:50 AM

It's to hot here, it's been around 100 degrees everyday, and working on cars in 100 degree weather =/= fun

Used666 06-29-2006 12:56 AM

Its not too hot here but the humidity is rediculous, its either pouring rain or humid as hell because of the rain

Abu-Abu 06-29-2006 01:17 AM

omg guys, for some reason I'm GASing for a new m7 string all the sudden, hah. I might end up buying a higher end 7 with a locking trem, and using the Washburn WG587 as a project guitar sorta and as my backup 7 or somehting.

What would you guys pick out of

2000 Ibanez S7420FMTT - $500 shipped all original electronics and stuff
RG7420 dunno much about it, good condition, no pics - $280
Maybe a used Agile interceptor?

I'm mostly GASing because of how my mom mentioned helping me pay for something so long as I don't use my other guitar she bought me as a project one and painting it and I started looking at stuff heh...

Daniel K 06-29-2006 01:20 AM

Don't get a 7420, after pickups and a new trem (needs both badly).

It will cost more than its worth.
