I just got Potemkin City Limits by Propagandhi, and although i love their other stuff......this is terrible. Maybe it'll grow on me or something, but for now, i really don't like this album.

It will.
Actually, it has. A speculative fiction is a badas's song. Believe it or not, I own all three of the other albums, (how to clean, less talk, and potemkin city limits) but I don't have today's empires yet, even though everyone says it's their best. I'll get it soon though. |
Oh yeah... i forgot to say what i'm listening to:

I like the new Propagandhi too.

Sham 68-Tell Us The Truth (album)
I would also like to add that it is an original LP from '78 and also that it is a promo copy. "Oh, what a 'record nerd'!" |
Terra Incognita - Rank Stranger
This cover is on a Ralph Records released sampler sort of thing called Potatoes. Yesterday I was listening to "American Roots" on NPR, and I heard the original (or closer to how it usually sounds) of this song. I insisted it was on the compilation, but my family disagreed. Turns out I'm right and I win. This is probably my favorite song on the compilation, other than The Residents and Negativland stuff. |

Indeed. Plus all the controversy they start. Lawsuit with U2 Claiming to be the reason a kid killed his parents selling bumper stickers that say "car bomb" They're Genius. |
