i rang her up to say goodnight cause the whole msg thing wasnt working for me (i realised my stupidness)
she was kinda sleepy talking and im like "hey, you ok? just rang to say goodnight" and she is all "hey dont go" and i say "no its ok, i can tell you are really tired right now, il leave you be" and we were talking for a little and then out of nowhere she says "i dont know what to do with you kev" all sad like and im like "whats wrong?" and she went silent for ages and i think i heard her cry and she just hung up on me.
So i waited a little to ring her back cause she hates when im there when she is crying, but she turned off her phone.

and im like "eh wtf?"

im kinda worried really.

You got that whole thing totally wrong, i was just saying goodnight to her and she was telling me about her night and she got a bit upset, ya know the way you can tell by the tone of her voice - and she said "i dont know what to do with you kev" and started crying...i think...for like 20seconds of that, her crying in the background - she takes the phone away from her face so i cant hear lol and the phone just hung up.

She didnt hang up on me in anger or anything.

Sorry. I misunderstood. I was under the impression that it happened like, last night and her phone was still off. My bad. Just give her some time and try to call tomorrow. Maybe something else triggered it and you were just there. Dont beat urself up over it just yet.

I worry as well, not so much as they are getting bored with me but about going outta my way for them and how they dont do it back... It goes from there and basically I just get clingy (reason for first breakup but has since been somewhat resolved.) All ya can do is work on it. Just keep her interested by doing new things that ya dont usually do and she cant get bored. Good luck with that.

Hey guys. I'm from the drum forum. I don't normally post here but I need some help.

I just don't have enough confidence anymore to go up and talk to a girl outta nowhere. I used to do it all the time in high school but after being rejected or having relationships that didn't work out I just totally lost my confidence and haven't really got it back since. If it matters, I am kinda nerdy lookin or atleast I think so.

What should I do?

Also I was wondering, if I ever get good at drums and get into a band that does shows, would being a good drummer increase my chances of getting hooked up? I mean like chicks comin up to me and talkin to me tellin me how cool the band is or somethin.

Definitely, man. if you are in a band you will SO get some. Take it from me, i play guitar. girls love it.

Guitar is different. Guitarists are in the front and some even sing. Drums are in the back. Lots of people might not even be able to see the drummer.

wel, let them give you a couple short solos, or have a cool gimmick(like sunglasses, hats,fro wigs, etc.), or come up with some cool beats or something. they'll be like "whoa, that is a tight beat!"

Okay, update!!!

That whole thing with Breanna.....first of all, I really am liking her a lot more now. And lucky me, I was talking to her on AIM earlier tonight, and basically, I found out she liked me. Now, we're open talking about that we like eachother, and all that fun stuff.

Soooo, on Monday, I'm moving, and we're basically gonna be neighbors. I can't wait! Its kinda safe to say that we're gonna end up being in a relationship. I just don't wanna rush into it too fast just yet.

Its funny, we both thought we were completely out of each other's leagues, and that we had no chance with with eachother. And as it turns out....not soo much.


I think I got soo lucky to be given a chance with this girl. She's everything you could want. Fun, caring, interesting, someone you could talk to for hours. Not to mention she's gorgeous. She's a model. Nuff' said.

We both take relationships seriously, and have a lot of the same views, relationship-wise. We get along great, but at the same time, have countless differences. Which I think, is good.

And yahh. I'm just really happy right now. For once, a girl is catching my attention as much as Wynston did when I liked her, and everyone is noticing. Heck, my friend Nicole saw Breanna a few days back(Nicole used to really like me, and now we know eachother really good), and the first thing she thought of was me, and that I'd like her. Everyone is drooling over Breanna since she moved back here, guys and girls. Its kinda annoying to have that following her everywhere she goes, but at the same time, it lets me know how lucky I am, and might be.

Anyways, tomorrow is bring your kid to work day, a.k.a skipping the day of school and hanging with Breanna and some friends. I guess if you have any tips or anything, to attempt to make this relationship happen, and for ehr to like me enough, go ahead and let me know. But at the moment, i think I could ask ehr out right now and get a 'yes'; i'm just gonna take things slowly first though.

I'm struggling with jealousy and it's getting me down. I introduced my friends from school to my friends from my drama group and hockey and whatnot. Now I tend to be the socially awkward person in the group (not out of shyness, but my friends are better looking and better in social situations than me... I think I scare people off). Now there's this guy I've known for about 4 years and I guess I've always had a soft spot for him. Nothing big, but yeah. So my friend has known him for a few weeks, maybe a couple of months and now they're going out. Now I'm really happy for them because they're really good together but I just get this pang of jealousy. It's just hard.... because my friends are the ones that always get the guy. It's always been the same and I've tried to accept it, but I can't help but fell run with jealousy every single time. And little comments aswell, like I was talking to my friend Geoff on the bus:
Me: Ha Geoff you think you're such a player :P
Him: Hey it's not like I'm attracted to you, I mean you're just not attractive. I wouldn't try it on with you.

I dunno, it's like I'm just written off, not even considered. I'm just the person that you just wouldn't try it with. It really gets me down. Way back when I had that very same thing happen to my: my friends were always nicer, cuter, funnier, cooler, etc. than me. Drove me crazy.

One thing I happened to be more than them, however, was smart. So I chose something I'd really excel in and got really good at it. In my case it was honors accounting. But it can be anything, really.

Get really good at playing an instrument or singing or sewing or whatever it is that you really enjoy. Then when you start feeling unimportant you can remember that you're much better at (whatever you choose) than them.

Why would your friend tell you that you're unattractive?
That's not what a friend would do. And you know that you're good looking.
I don't know about your friends, but you certainly have attractive qualities.
Maybe it's just that they think you're out of their league and so they treat you indifferently.

I can excel at loads of things compared to my friends... but sometimes they hold that against me which ends up maing me feel worse. And it's like "But I can do all these things, and yet you still prefer them??". And yeah Geoff is not tactful and that did actually hurt me despite me not showing it. He can be a twat sometimes.

1. Like I said before; he's got no tact.
2. No, I'm not good looking. I'm not sure if you've seen any pictures of me and this is the first time I've admitted it, but the camera can be very forgiving. Please take my word for it, my friends are better looking than me.
3. I'm not out of their league, I was never in it.
4. I act like I would around anyone. They doon't flirt with me, they treat me like one of their mates, so I treat them the same back. I'm not going to embarrass myself with a poor attempt at flirting. I went to an all gir's school for 4 years in primary school, I often wonder if that has had an effect on how I act today. I'm bubbling with confidence and quite often near the centre of attention. I like to mess around and make people laugh. I think my main problem is people feel intimidated by me. I'm also quite... masculine for a girl. Not like really butch but I used to be a real tomboy. I have quite a deep voice, don't really tend to wear skirts or dresses, people say I walk like a guy and other shiznit.

It's true that the guys will always go for the more feminine girls at that age. It's not so important as you get older though.
