Actually there are tons. Especially in the city. Mind you my dad (who is the full Latino) is a college educated engineer working for Lockheed Martin, which is why we are there. Denver is one of Lockheed's centers.

Well, classic rock and blues guys go for Fenders. I hate Gibsons, for the most part. They're designed more for looks.

Well, that's news to me. Call me racist/ignorant/whatever but I never expected that. I've seen so few Latinos in the Midwest.

Gibson acoustics are okay, but the Les Pauls and stuff are crap.

I have a Jackson and Ibanez electric, a Yamaha acoustic. They're all very good.

I have a BC Rich Warlock. It's an electric and i seriously doubt BC Rich make acoustics :lol:

I want some EMG's in mine. Stock BC Rich pickups aren't very good at all.

Ah...well I actually never had the problem in high school. You need a high school education for almost anything. But I burned myself out this year and I don't know why I'm here getting a degree for a job I probably won't like. I also haven't done too well in the college environment. Really more than anything this year has taught me that I can be good at things and still hate them, and school is seeming to be one of thise things.

This is my biggest issue: I'm going to be at uni for five years, since the teaching program has now become a five-year program here.

I have to go through all this extensive testing (I also have to write my own exams for both my major AND minor as part of my certification process... if they get denied, I'm screwed), take all these BS classes, student aid, student teach, etc... my parents and I are pumping all this money into my uni to become a teacher...

... only to have me earn about $25,000 a year for a job that I've learned isn't as fun as I thought it'd be. It's like, what's the point? :(

Well, the thing with me is, I have no idea what I'm doing or what I want to do. So I'm here doing oft-questionable work in college, and for what? I guess I'm just as a crossroads here.

Here's the thing. I know I catch on quickly and can do well at most any job I want to do, and I can do so without trying. I wouldn't be at college if I wasn't on full ride, I know that much, but wasting this opportunity while I have it is a little bit harder.

Well, I like being in college, so I'm going to stay. But what if I wind up being happiest in a job that requires no college education?

I decided to put big money aside and do something I'd enjoy. I'd rather be doing something with my hands and make 50k than sit behind a desk for the rest of my life making 100k. Plus I'm mentally lazy, hence why I joined the Army. I despised the thought of another 4 years of school so I went with a different option.

Right guys, i just woke up and am now off to school. Doing my GCSE English presentation to my teacher to :/ I did it on the similarities between 'The Ghost In The Shell' and 'The Matrix.' I just chose a topic she will know nothing about.

Well, Tom Araya called me and said he'd do vocals for me, but I said I'm waiting on my Aussie buddy. As long as you get it sometime this year I'll call Tom back and tell him it's covered:).
