does stereolab suck or is it just me
|
never heard
|
it's kind of like neu! mixed with crappy indie pop i guess is the concept
it could almost have potential |
stereolab sounds indie as ****
|
yeah i remember all the indie kids jocking them
i some how got this weird hunch that their music would be full of irony and prog experimentation but idk its just motorik beats their album art is very nostalgic |
sounds gay talk about it somewhere else
|
I don't mind Dirty Three so far
|
which album? horse stories or ocean songs?
|
the one with the sea imagery like the anchor logo and the mermaid and blue watery shades all over the front cover
horse stories I am guessing |
Mogwai's The Hawk is Howling is really nice, none of their work has really left much of an impression on me but I like this quite a bit.
|

post rock n00b for lyfe
I remember not liking that album at all. But I like Young Team and Mr. Beast and Happy Songs for Happy People. I'm gonna listen to it again tonight though. |
The review site is full of ****. The Hawk album is the best Mogwai the rest is pretty mediocre.
what s the most obscure dangerous post rock there is
lol |
Yeah.

I prefer shorter song lengths such as on Rock Action I think. |

Linkin Park |
thats post-melodic industrial metal
|
Shouldn't this thread be in the alt&indie forum?
|
It'd probably be best at home there, but we've had hardcore and hip-hop threads as well which don't belong here at all.
This at least falls under the banner of rock. |
Fair enough.
